When you are training it train it to hunt close to you as it’s easy to get it to hunt at a distance when it’s trained but not the other way around

Does using them alongside lurchers affect the gun work ?
They know the score after a few trips out. My last one hunted close when I;the beating line but hunted alongside the lurchers when out mooching

I have always had cockers.....they work with the lurches and also beat on the shoot.....they will never win a field trial but do ok at both

I got a pocket predator Hathcock sniper (cheesey f***ing name). Flat bands. All I want to do is practice with it but I get 3-4 shots and you can tell it’s losing power. I’ll just wait til it warms up. Hopefully not too long here
I,ve got one as well one of my favorites

I might be interested ,this bitch of mine is iron hard....absolutely no reverse gear
generation after generation ,tested to the hilt.....dating back to the run of the century The ancestors of this dog fought bloody battles on the streets battling bulls and bears
what I need now is an out cross because that dogs a lovely colour and the pups would sell well on pets r us

I have used twin bands before found that single was better for me with a light pouch, it was more accurate
to be honest. Single with a light pouch is fast enough for hunting
i, m no expert but I think double would be better for bigger ammo. 12 mm lead etc

The bands on the pic will go straight in and out of a beer can at 10 metres.
I use 9.5 steel Just get the band length right and practise

I always thought I needed to divide by 5
depends on what bands you are using
-
as greyman says ..work out how long the bands need to be ...they might need cutting down a bit ..
then keep practising
