Advice wanted on scopes please
mal mason replied to k9delboy's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
just a simple 3-9x40 would be ok on it mate, they worked ok for me and i had loads of fun with my .22, the illuminated recticule means that just as its going dark you can turn it on and focus on your prey for that much longer as you can see your cross hairs longer, because without the illumination you lose your cross hairs in the darkness so when illuminated gives you that little bit longer.hope that didnt seem confusing but you dont need a big complicated scope for what your doing mate but if you have it then use it. good luck regards mal -

Good night foxing With 17HMR
mal mason replied to fox_hunter's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Ur dead right mucker, i have shot fox with hmr but only at around 50yrds and dont think i would risk it any further and as i see quite a few when out shooting i have applied for a variation for .223, as this is the true fox gun and would have no bother dispatching a fox at a good distence, and i do understand that they do need controlling but using the right tool for the job is always the best way, best keeping the hmr for bunnies and variating for .223, good hunting guys -
GRANNY, you could try THE STALKING DIRECTORY FORUM, if you havent already its got a few for sale last time i looked pal.

Still got my rifle for sale, its a really nice light gun silenced with a RF mod, mounted with sportsmatch mounts and hawk HD 3-9x40 scope, the gun itself has been cleaned after every outing, and im sure being honest probably 300 rounds gone through it, i have found it to be really accurate right out to 130yrds and have taken rabbit at that distence, would be a great first time gun for some one starting out with FAC, just want some one to have as much fun as i have, the only reason selling is i have a .17hmr thats more than enough for bunnie bashing and the .22 is collecting dust so please pm

I had a dog he was an irish staff and he was my sons dog, he moved away to a flat and couldnt take the dog so he asked me to have him untill i found a home for him, it took me a while and had a lot of interest and in the end i took him to a guy in bury, my son didnt want anything for him just for him to go to a good home and the person in question said i will give you £20 for your diesel if you bring him to me so i said ok no problem as i am a good guy like that and did him the favor of taking him to bury from warrington where i live, when i took him the guy explained that his wife had the mo
