  5. Im sorry but good lurcher lines dont need gun dog breeds jmo Some of the dogs that pass as lurchers today would benefit from an infusion of decent gundog blood. Im not quite sure what your saying here feller but i personally wouldn't want any gun dog blood in my dogs. They dont have anything that cant be gained from other breeds. And what do you mean by "dogs that pass as lurchers today" ? Gundogs don't have anything that can't be gained from other breeds?. Nose, coat, natural retrievers, hunting ability, water work can all come in one infusion from a gundog, can't think
  6. some are very athletic others are not all the ones ive seen have a strong desire to hunt the later generation ones are alot more athletic the kc bull mastiff could do with a bit of alaunt blood when you look back at the Bullmastiff of 100 years ago, which were the keeper night dog. The Alunt was like that bullmastiff then, not the show shit of today. I had bullmastiffs in the 80s , and back then the breed had health probs (HD not long lived etc....) thats why i came out of it. Yes if the put drop of Alunt blood to the gene pool of Bullmastiffs of today would really help the
