  1. Yup, tapeworm cyst. Used to find these infrequently, but over the last year or so they seem to be turning up far more. Anybody have any suggestions why this is so? I'm finding them in rabbits on land that is grazed by stock and on land that hasn't been grazed for years. Could it be down to the rise in the fox population who are passing eggs in their faeces in greater numbers?
  2. Might be able to help you out with ferreting, lurchers and possibly some rabbit/pigeon shooting photo opportunities. I live near Land's End , so not too far away ! Woody
  3. Those Lidl bike intercoms are just the job . Used ours last winter and improved communication resulted in improved kill rate and we could swear at the driver when he went over the rough stuff . We've got a couple of old Series Landies fitted out with lamps and cages . Seems they are getting to be a rarity !! looked plenty he didnt say there was any issue getting them but keeps telling he sells more winchesters than any others Yeah , a lot of my mates swear by the Winchesters , but my CZ prefers the Eleys . Hope somebody from Eley comes onto the forum to explain where they're all going ! where abouts in the country are you? West Cornwall

  7. Yeah , I ended up buying a few hundred CCI's as I was getting too low on ammo for comfort ! Seeing where you are , this may not be just a local problem . Thanks for the reply
  8. I've noticed that a lot of people on here have found , as I have , that Eley subs suit their rifles . I've been using them since I first got my rimfire and tried out a selection of ammo makes . Found that the Eleys grouped best with my rifle and decided that I could live with the smell these rounds produce . On the last couple of trips to my RFD , he has had none in stock and told me yesterday that he had no idea when he might be getting some as Eley are sending so many out to the States at th
