F**k that, that would do my head in well I've had the same experience waiting for my FAC to come back when I paid for my 204ruger and it was just waiting to be picked up but was worth the wait though had my first charlie a couple of hours after zeroing it

There not a bad scope mate i've just always gone for nikko over hawke just my personal preference, i would stick to mil dot i've always gone for mil dot on my center fire and rf but have always had mil dot on air rifles think it just helps with the range side of things on pcp

A nikko sterling platinum nighteater 4-16x44 with sidewheel focus great scope for what you want, got one on my hw100 does the job very well have a look on optic warehouse mate in your price range got mine from there more than happy with it

If your only going to shoot foxes mate go for a 204ruger great gun, got the range and power

I went over to my golf course shoot today just to have a look there is a few around no where as much as last year hope it picks up soon well it should.

I'm not from round your way but from having home loads myself you could make a home load nearly identical to what your using and if you get it right it will be much more accurate and will be so much cheaper in the long run don't need to spend that much on loading gear because you won't be loading that much

Yeah there good scopes but i wouldn't put one on my .223 i would go for a millet,nikon,schmidt bender or zeiss that's if you have a bit to spend and depending on what you want it for how much you got to spend????? or a low budget scope would be a nikko stirling

Same i put it down to the ground because it's really hard ground,but don't mind only go over there for charlies at least get one every time over there :laugh:

I'd go for a .22 for rabbits so cheap to run and cheap to buy great gun nice clean kill if you want to eat them,i've aways used a .22 for rabbits would never use a 17 on them just messy and no fun it's so easy with a 17 .22 much more fun and a better shot will use a .22 :laugh:

I'd go for a cz if you don't have that much to spend no matter how much they cost a great gun

I really hope it picks up,but this year has been quiet only had about 20 since the start of the year.

Another bit of land i shoot on it's a farm but for the years i've been shooting there never seen one rabbit and the land owner never has in about 15years the weirdest thing ever everyone i speak to can't work it out anyone know why it's like that?????

I've always had the gun in a case with no bolt in and mag out of gun and always no bullets in the mag,also never keep the bolt or bullets on me keep them in my shooting bag along with FAC and permission form this was the way i was shown by my dads old mate the FAO.

Hi all just wondering if it's just me but i've not seen many bunnies around on any of my land since the beginning of the year

Aswell as the charlies i said about on here a couple of days ago went out again last night and had another charlie with in a few mins,opened the gate to the farm put the lamp on and there was a charlie sitting there in the middle of the field at 90yards turned lamp off opened bipod rested on the bonnet lamp back on and gave him a 204 between the eyes :laugh:

 

shooting at the moment on the charlie front is good for me but saying that didn't shoot that many last year was doing alot of bunny bashing but concentrating more on charlies this year because have hardly seen any bunnies.
