    cheers jasper appreciated ,i'm just doing a bit of planning for the future ,it wont be untill her third year till i get another if i get another im just looking forward to see what she looks like in adult plumage and how she handles hares in her second year but id love to have two in the air following me on the ground anyway no rush and thanks again seffa

    went out again this morning for hares she was at 2 pound 4 again put up a nice big hare and she got stuck right into it got it bound up i. i ran over to grab back legs and ballsed it up .i ended up on top of the bird and the hare got off .i was spewing at the fact the bird had been let down by me because she had done her job and i wrecked it .anyway i carried on sulking for few fields until another one jumped .she hit it first time on head and neck and had it sorted for me just to grab hold of its legs easy .basically she pulled me out out of the shit i'm made up so thanks again you lot wh

    Forgive moi if I am wrong, but is'nt a 7/8th gyr/saker almost no different to a 100% pure gyrfalcon ? And why not less than that percentage ?     The problem you will find with falconry is that there a lot of di**he**s involved which im not going to go into....Having said that there are some people in falconry who's advice within the sport is priceless and are generally very nice people.You dont need a licence to hunt most game species in most areas in falconry as long as you stay within the seasons(october to the end of january).Falconry is not easy to get into as you must learn the how to look after a Bird of prey and train one, this is not easy and will take a very long time round about a year.
