  1. dont forget if your new to pcps you will need either a dive bottle or a pump to charge your rifle
  2. the bsa ultra is a very capable hunting rifle but not every one gets on with the loading. the s410 is longer and heavyer but in my opinion is the better hunter (i own a 410 classic .177) for around the £400-£450 mark you should get a good s/h s410, try to get one that isnt anti tamper
  3. i particualy like the way you have camo'd your silencer there mate
  4. : no i tink it shit its self when it see i had my AAS410K .22 no i think it had a heart attack when it realised that davy was going to throw half a tonne of lead at it very slowly
  5. work! yeah right any excuse for a play!! nice shoooting mate
  6. i wundered into a field yesterday with a very large, and very angry looking bull called boris was sitting watching me. i shot the 1 rabit i was watching and left. your right they are very intimidating!
  7. we should get him a pinny
  8. hi here are a few points for you to think about is it anti tamper?? if is isnt and you send it back to air arms they will put AT on it! the service kit (seals and bushes) are relitivly cheap (£10-£15) there are verious guides as to the serviceing youre AAs410 yourself i had my first service done in front of me and now i do all my own mainenence. i think air arms charge about £70 plus p&p for service they will also reset the power to between 10.5-11pound so the choice is youres. let me know if you want me to post the links to self service
  9. awsome looking bit of kit mate i hope you enjoy it and i look forward to reading your review on it

  12. shall we start a poll to see if polls should be banned!!!!!!! :vava: only kidding folks
  13. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO poll requierd!!!!!!!! go down the local gunshop and buy youre self a harris or deben 9-13 tilt pod i have the deben 9-13 on my AAs410 .177 (rifle on the right or the piccy). i belive charly has the harris 9-13 on his (rifle on the left. same piccy).
  14. firstly a massive thankyou to davy for inviting me over again, its well worth the three hour drive to davys (peterborough to swindon) this is the second invite i have had and you just cant beat the hospitality. well the new horse paddock permision is good plenty of bunnys, pity about the weather, but nice open fields to practice some longer shot on, but pickins were thin because of the weather. over at stanford i had a wunder about to get a feel for the land, again nice rolling country side with a bit of woodland thrown in for good measure, although i didnt see many bunnies, i did however wa
  15. i dont see why you cant change the breech block over to a 410 model but i dont think it will be cheap. but as above you dont need a multishot to hunt with, most of us have started shooting with single shot springers and been satisfied with them. paul
  16. hi davy cheers for the invite but i dont think i will be able to do that weekend as we have a nevis trip planned. sorry i havent been i touch but i have been very busy at work and my free time is taken up with climbing this time of year. is charly feeling any better yet? perhaps i could make it down a different weekend. AND NO HARVEY YOU CANT HAVE ANY SLEEP THIS TIME!!!! and as for the lad with the 125 chicken chaser i managed to get my rifle and my weekend gear on my bike with no problems last time i went to davys. speak to you soon paul
  17. Harvey and myself were so far ahead of you that WE HAD THE TIME TO SLEEP!!!! even with the snooze you didnt catch us you know .177 is the better shot  i think this calls for a rematch soon LOL
  18. DONT LISTEN TO HIM BOYS AND GIRLS AS HE TELLS FRICKING LIES it was indeed a fantastic weekend but i seem to remember the scores slightly differently Charlie 2 (needs to start shooting the kits) Harvey 2 (Charlies snoring kept the rabits away for him) Davy 6 (would have had more but rifle was getting low on air (140 bar)) Paul 9 (would have had more but was checking my eyelids for holes and catching some rays at 7am) so i think thats 11 to .177 boys (me and harvey) and 9 for the .22 grandads i am up for a rematch (hopefully soon) so you can even the tally!!
