Yea mate i have been pig hunting but not deer hunting thats why i am asking for help at what time would be best and where would i more than likely find them at certain times of the day so i can go out and find one.

A license isn't required its considered a pest species mate, and its on a friends property the only animals we need licenses for are the native species all the other pest species or introduced species a license is not required. Also a license isn't required to own a bow in Australia there is with guns though.

How, is it illegal to shoot deer in the UK ? because I live in Australia and as far as i know its legal to shoot deer.

They are purse nets mate, Atb Cliff I know what purse nets are i have them, I just thought a long net was a net that was put up around the whole of the warren to stop the rabbit escaping from that little area.

We have the exact same problem with immigrants here, me and my friend were down on the lake fishing and there were several maltese people we looked in each of the buckets as we passed by and every fish they had was undersized and they were exceeding the bag limit.

I went ferreting the other day with my own ferrets, glad i finally got my own. I had a great time. But everytime i go my ferrets catch rabbits down the holes, they have been resurfacing but i think its because the rabbits are getting away, Is there anyway of training them not to catch rabbits but chase them or will they continue to do it on instinct?

I know i should have put this in the living of the land and cooking section but i thought i might get better replies from here. Does anyone actually eat the carp or are they more a sport fish, because alot of people down here say they are no good eating because they have to many bones, but besides the bones are they actually any good eating?

I live in Australia and people say there are wild deer around but i've never been able to see one when i go out with the bow, does anyone know what time is best and where they would possibly be at what times of day like if they were at water round about lunch, because i would like to shoot a wild deer.

I went sea fishing for the first time couple of weeks ago and i enjoyed it i caught plenty of fish.

Here in Australia it's illegal to throw them back into the water. If you get caught you can get a very big fine.

There are wild boar in a few places, but hunting with dogs has been outlawed here Can only use dogs to flush to guns or find the wounded.... That sucks, I don't think your suppose to hunt pigs with dogs but it's like a nationwide sport here in Australia. I went out pigging with a friend once and we had a decent sized boar on the back of the ute and the dogs were in the cages so it was quite obvious how we got the pig and we had to make a quick stop in town and while we did the local police officer walked over to the car and said nice catch did you get it with dogs and we said yes and

That 2nd picture with the fish in it is that a redfin? because we have them here in Australia, but people say they are a pest are they good eating or what?

I was out setting my rabbit traps once and this kid the same age was with me and i told him to rub the trap in rabbit poo to cover the scent and he set the trap then rubbed the trigger plate and it got his finger it was hilarious. But we did end up getting a rabbit.

Nice catch. but we have them in Australia and they are considered a pest we went camping last summer and caught 67 in a day, They make good eel bait though thats about the only good use for them.

We have crayfish here in Australia and i boil them then peel the shells then fry them in garlic.
