  1. Kent Game & Equine Festival at Kent Showground, Detling, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 3JF. on March 24th & 25th. The Coursing Crew will be running all lurcher & terrier events over the weekend. Simulated coursing, straight racing 23" & under, over 23", under 21" charity race, puppies & terriers. Entries taken from 9.30 to start as soon as first card is full. Terrier & lurcher show to start at approx 1pm, ringside parking. Qualifiers for Countryman's Weekly champion of champions & NWTF.

Simulated coursing, straight racing 23" & under, over 23", puppies & terriers. Also 21" & under charity race (all proceeds to go to East Midlands Dog Rescue). Entries taken from 9am to start as soon as first card is full. Terrier & lurcher show to start 1pm on both days NWTF qualifiers & others applied for. unfortunately no camping

  6. funeral details are Friday the 9th of sept 11.10 leaving from chris's house 11'50 chesterfield cremotorium chris has said anyone wanting to pay their respects are more than welcome to attend and the family thank everyone for their kind words my deepest heartfelt condolences go to all of the faimly xx

  11. i didn't once say i was a vet, i like to see flexable joints my preference, imho i picked out what i thought was a very nice bitch and didn't even know the chap

  13. fair enough but what about un-ruly dog behaviour i did say to him when i was judging it that he needed to get more control, his reply was it wasn't that old and was only over friendly, what do you say to people that think that, as you know you can't tell people or give advice if they won't take it in maybe you as a judge telling him he might have just taken it in, time will tell sure we will see it again in the future,a completly different dog perhaps,who knows and as for the paw bend,didnt mean nothing by it just makes me chuckle,small things and all that no offen

  18. Sounds good But, and I'm only being "Devils Advocate" now, how will you tell which is Whippet/Grey and which is pure Grey ?? There's a lot of un-tattoed Greys running in the Lurcher racing now.Cheers. well thats the dilema we will just have to take their word and ask how they are bred,
  19. They will be slipped and its open to all weights, as long as it is a grey/whip, racers or workers are welcome
  20. ffs get a grip women ,all i was stated whats happening and what i,ve heard people should stay away from that place and people running it and shows they running ,and i have got dogs 2 run but would,nt go near a place that has anything 2 do with the poachers rest i openly appologise for seeing your post as a dig, i read into more than i should have, this is just for whippet/greyhounds to race against each other with more than just a rosette and trophy on offer, also the show is raising money to help support the hero's

Fastest on the Fens Beast of the East 19/06/11 £50 entry winner takes 50% of the prize fund runner up 25% the remainder to the venue head to head 2 dogs slipped by one person loser knocked out winner through to next round and we keep going this way until we run the final. Non peds only this is a challenge to you all to be run at the Poachers rest show on the above date, all entries to be received with dogs details and photo by 19/05/11 220m on grass (straight) Please pm me for further details
