Need to try them out mate My eyes do not suit Leica - or S&b scopes, both are obviously fantastic products. I have tried a few pairs out and Hawke - vortex minox are very good bins .- for first and last light Ziess and Swaro are the best for my eyes and deliver colours earlier and later than other optics

I have decided to sell my collection of hound magazines and a couple of grit and steel from the past. I realise there has been a number of threads on binoculars, however I have a good et of Minox BL 8 x42 that are very good, but Swaro 7 x42 pick out colours 5 to 10 mins before or after them at dawn/dusk. I do mainly woodland stalking and would like to upgrade light gathering etc if poss. An suggestions under a grand, and how do the Swar 7x42 habbicht compare Ta in advance

Just recieved the above - can't put it down. This is a top work by a top author, about a top terrierman - quality!!!!!! I was having problems getting a pup from my old bitch approx 17 years ago, and had contacted Nick by letter, the lad rang me and ofered me a pup (8mth) free of charge. I never met the lad but spoke a few times to him on the phone - he was 100% in my view. Also i believe the bitch that he offered me he kept and went on to make a good dog for him. If you like your eathdogs - it looks the biz

I am looking for some pants gortex type with reinforced knees etc for going beating & out with the terriers, not looking to pay a fortune as the dearest pair rips on barb wire - any suggestions?

[/ Not sure Donald has any Borders now - Old Rock was a legend There are some lads in scotland withthe old Levi oakes stuff that is good apparently. Been thinking long and hard myself. A lad who used to hunt hounds in west cumbria has some good non pedigee borders

There is a huge difference between steiner and swarovski ! Its like looking at a ford v merc they both get you from a-b but one gets you there in ore comfort and style. Also resale of swaro's are very near new value and back up from the manufactures are out this world. Cheers fella, worth knowing

I hvae been looking at some glasses in local gun shop & am thinking of investing in a good set. I have been impressed by saworski & steiner, obviously big price diff, for what looks like no diff in quality, any thoughts?
