    a proper 100% earth dog should have a good nose not going to ground unless the set is ocupied wasting time and once to ground find and keep the quarry in the stoppend till dug to no exeptions season after season. you put the trust in the dog to do the job and the dog puts the trust in you to do your job and to dig him out .

    ive got my euro on mate can only hope mine comes up this country is a fecking joke at the mo the working man is getting fecked by the goverment left right and center. we as a hole need to take a stand walk outs evry monday morn all out wont be long till thay listen to the working man then when the country is at a stand still out on monday it will take till thursday for things to get back to norm then back out the folowing week till thay do somethin about it tax/ fule/ wages ect ect but brits are sheep dont wont to rock the boat rant over.

    i was led to believe it was not classed as a permanent dwelling so no planning permission was required as for fitting in with saroundings put it next to a wood thats that sorted.

    do you have any links / info on the log cabin idea ? just done a quick search just to show the idea type in Swedish log or Finnish log and hay presto.sorry to hijack the thread a bit but who else would be interested in the same idea?

    in the same boat mate but i have bit the bullet and its a right pain an the ass but what can you do apart from a win on the lotto yer stuck with it. if you can get the land look into log cabins fraction of the price .but i dont no if the mortgage company will lend the cash for one.am seriously considering one my self.no roof tax i am led to believe

    aye he only missed maybe 5 or 6 tops, hes a good un The retreivings no your fault or the dogs, its just one of those things, the guy who had him as a pup must have no put the time in, if youd have reared him it would be a different story . I think he gets better as the night wears on though, he starts to grip the rabbits harder. Dont forget, some lads on here would love a soft mouthed dog like him, less bruised meat if your selling to the game dealers or whatever, theres a silver lining in every cloud give me a cruncher any time or live strait to hand instead of the fecking around it
