hi lads is a .22 magnem with winchester hollow point ammo suitable for fox??

you could use it close up but it more where you put the shot head or neck,

I don't know who you are but best not to shout until you know what you are talking about. I and many others have my .22LR, .17HMR and .22WMR specifically conditioned with the word FOX!!!

[Stainless/Blued barreled actions]

Hi all, just something I've been thinking about lately, why would you re-barrel a rifle/do some manufacturers offer blued recievers with stainless barrels? it just seems to me that you have the stainless for corrosion resistance so it would make sense to have both in stainless :wacko: however, the difference in metal does look kinda cool........ (see Kimber 84M Longmaster Classic) Is it mostly for cosmetics or cost saving?

As I understand stainless resists wear better. Tends to be used in barrel burners - small calibre high velocity steep twist rifles. (.220 Swift leaves barrel at 155,000 rpm). b*****d to machine so not used in actions.

[Spotting binos]

Any advice on spotting binos? Low mag wide field? High mag narrow field? Zoo-o-om? They'll be used with 17 HRM but maybe later with 22 centrefire. My old 10x50s were good in their day but they're bloody heavy and crap optics by today's standards.
