just a question that ive been thinking about how do i go about taking a 12G over to ireland. I have friends over there and was wondering how i take my shooter over there to do a shoot with them. any help would be great, Also same with dog's whats route do you have to take, and any price's if known Thanks guys

after a long time talking to the Mrs about buying MORE fishing gear she gave in and got me 2 Fox PS alarms for xmas, the weathers stating to warm up around essex way. but after looking at 3 Pike lakes which i know for sure hold 30+'s, they still all frozen!!! any 1 know of any good pike waters that aint frozen over still around the south east, im getting real desperate now. cheers

i've just read the post again, and done some more research, didn't realise that Baikal do side by side's as well, and still is a good looking and sound great for 1'st timer. thanks borntoshoot for that advice and its good, but i have a friend that's getting me into it and deffantly prefer a side by side, now need to do research into what cartridges to get now. thanks all

thanks for that guys, just looked on guntrader to get a rough idea and it dont seem too bad if im honest. never really liked the looked of O/U's but it actually better then i thought and the price tag aint to steep either, looks like an ideal 1st shooter, might go and try and look at 1 duing the week if posilble, thanks a lot for the help guys,

hi all i'm applying for my licence in the new year, once i get that i was just curiouse on what shooter to get, was looking at F.T.Baker but not sure what else would be good for a 1st one, i mainly want it for wild fowling, pigeon and doing rabbits any help and pics will be great. Thanks

thing with labs is my partners mates got a black lab as a pet and its boisterous as f**k and its put her right off them especially as we have a youngen on the way. thanks all the same

Hi all i'm just starting to get into shooting, should be getting my gun and licence in the new year, just like to know what would be the best recommended gun/retriever dog to get for a 1st dog, also must be good with children as i just found out i got a baby on the way. would like the dog to work with ferrets and retrieve pigeon, wildfowl and rabbits. pics would be grateful as well thanks peeps

same over here, me and a pal went out tuesday night hoping to catch a early morning pike, after messing around with sorting everything out and the trekking across 2 fields and rail way tracks we finally got there and was frozen over, decided to try and break the ice which we did, put rods out and by morning had frozen over again. cant wait for this weather to do 1 so can crack on with fishing ATB turk

I'll pop over lakeside tomorrow if i dare (f**king xmas) and have a look, and on the comfort front, maybe some sort of air bed if we going to do it again, and i think we will go a bit more prepared. and i aint wearing them poxy boots again they killed my feet, We'll have one after xmas i think, patience is of a virtue!!!

hi folks, was over the permission this morning and had a good look around again, and noticed that theres a couple of earths that need ferreting, i got a ferret and purse nets but the holes are so burried under bramle and covered by thick threes and i dont think i got enough nets to cover the earth to b honest, and i aint got a long net either. so i thought i'd offer up a days mooching for someone with bit more experiance then me and who has lurches to catch the bolts (ya best having 2 dogs TBH) im in essex near jct 30/31 M25 if anyone interested PM me if interested

well as it says, i want to get me 1st terrier after xmas, was looking at a border, crackin dogs, but from what been told they are rather head strong and can take a while to come round and introduce, so i was thinking about a patt or patt X, what you guys think for 1st terrier, want to get 1 after xmas but want to get it ready for next season if ya got any good stories and pics b good to read and see cheers turk

what good workin terrier books are there to buy, mainly interesting in marking terriers. was thinkin about a border terrier but now getting swayed to a border X patt. also can someone explain some the terrier slang lol i.e going to ground and what ever other terrier slang there is, sorry for sounding like a div lol any comments would be great, keep the bitcheness to ya selfs

10 should be fine mate, i always make sure i lay all the nets and hope to have 2 or 3 left over to put in me pocket for a quick re-net in case more then just 1 are home, been cought out when i was alot younger. all the best and enjoy ya self,

So basically same as lurchers, as in let the watch so they pick it up. Cracking pups there smudge how much you sell them for as I'm hoping to buy mine after Xmas now and introduce her next season. Again thanks guys

right happy days are amoung us, i've manage to convince me missus to let me get a terrier, but she said she only likes the border terrier i dont mind i like either these or patt's or border X patt, something along the lines of. what i after is a bit of info, 1) what the like to mark for the ferrets 2) can they be used instead of nets (or would u stick with lurcher type for that) 3)how brainy they (to train for marking(this being me 1st terrier)) 4)they prone to any illness? 5) what sex would ya prefer or is this personnal? look forward to your SENSIBLE comment
