Andy i am very drunk atm so cant comment yes you can. best time is when your pissed,you say things that you wouldent say other wise ok then according to some folk its not a good move to breed silver to silver as it produces a lethal gene in the end result, according to some folk this may not be the case , but its only what i read some yrs ago, research may have been done since i read the info so maybe best if you loook into it before commencing on such a venture

I think its a personal choice really, i prefer hobs personally, i like there laid back nature, just a few things to bare in mind really, if you get jills you have to be mindfull when they come into season & they need bringing out of season using one of a few methods allowing them to have a litter run them with a vasectomised hob getting them a hormone injection at the vets or speying this is the only sensible option if you never intend breeding the ferrets Hobs will live happily together all season if your lucky, i left my pair together this year with no problems . but some peo

I wouldnt want a hybrid simply as i dont see the point & certainly dont have time to ''tame it'' i think its a case of nature rather than how the animal is handled, i dont think you can tame such an animal , I dont understand the genetics side so dont know if some offsprings carry more ferret or more polecat genes or if the genes are split right down the midddle But i imagine the poor things are not only skitty but also confused. arnt polecats nocturnal ? if so how does that work as ferrets arnt I just think its man messing in something he souldnt & its best left alone
