  1. new to ferrets, not long had ours, we got two jills and a hob, jills being the oldest. put em in a three tier hutch tht we built but theres one which dont like goin out of the top tier. shes well skinny, theres food there if she wants it but she dont seem interested in it. we gave her some diced meat on her own and she ate tht but still didnt want too much of it. can anyone give me some advice on this please?
  2. Just wonderd how that lurcher was shapeing up atb dell

  3. 3/4 whippet 1/4 collie, knw [bANNED TEXT] with a collie/whippet n is gd, very obedient and suprisingly good at bushing but nt quite quick enough. wouldnt go for a beddyx as for a first lurcher beddies are fukin stubborn, ours has got a little in but it shows through and would choose to have her more obedient as she is our first aswel. knw of other people who have said that they have found theirs are stubborn too but for their prey drive and ability to catch is said to be astonoshing.
  4. ai, i agree, our bitch has only a little beddie in her but it does show massively. also whats your dog like in cover?
  5. alryt cheers lads, now where then would you go from here in terms of the breed of spaniel? pros and cons of cocker or spaniel?
  6. mike i notice you have a patterdale, why do you not suggest a terrier if you have one yourself?
  7. whys that? what will a spaniel do that a terrier won't? and why not get one from earth dog lines?
  8. i have currently got myself 5 month old lurcher and am working with her at the moment but really could do with a terrier in the future sometime. what does evryone think a good alround terrier would be for working alongside lurchers and ferrets. it would be mainly worked in bushing for rabbits. what are the suggestions? im fairly new to terriers.

  11. He had the litter for sale on this site if i remember and i would have been intrested in one but for the beddy hybred i have at the moment. If this cross gels right and you get the brains of the collie the kill of the beddy and the speed and reflexes of the whippet and greyhound not to mention the stamina from the collie and bedlington you are more than half way to having a dog you should be more than happy with.atb dell thanks for the tips mate, yeh, well she has a good nose, sniffing out the burrows when out. and she can usually last well when we take her out with my brother in laws two o
