Hello mate, Use a for inch sidewinder i find the green or mint coloured ones work well, i use them straight through cast sink and draw slowly works a treat! try and find yourself a deep rock mark but be careful and wear a floatation suit if your climbing around deep water marks and let someone know where you've gone! Went out with Paul Dyer on Brighton Diver 2 Brighton Marina! 15 Mile out on this wreck and paul was bang on the money!! flying collar rig and eight foot trace to a red tail jelly,slow retrieve 30 turns up and you can't go wrong :doh:well maybe you could! 26 fish in total this one being my biggest!
  5. Hello Mate, Being a Charter Skipper myself, imo icom for the radio and raymarine for the finder. Raymarine are doing some awesome all in one packages at the moment and they are not that dear really, have a look at the HD boxes as well the picture is freckin' awesome. Remember your radio licence as well if you havent done a course do one i think you will find it pretty interesting what with all the new gismo's on the radio's now especially when the time come's GOD FORBID! that you need it in distress!   7. It was a brilliant day out with a mate who pretty much thinks the same way! How scary!!! Your're right though the rabbit's were a bonus and when you get them like that you know you done everything right, it was a good day! Roll on Saturday!!!!!!!

Well guy's quite a good day really! it snowed to a total white out all afternoon and it was bloody freezing! just as well the lad stayed at home i think if we had'nt of done quite so well it would of put him off! Still we cracked on between Paul and myself and things started well in the first few minutes with two in the bag already then off to a big warren after about an hour, it was massive! took the best part of hour and half to net and clear us out all be our spares. Conan was slipped past the net and within five mins all hell broke lose and rabbit's bolting hard everywhere! Like i said

Hello mate, Yes the bells do work i use them and i find they make a big difference, i have a young polecat and he was a bit to quick underground and he caught virtually everything and we tried to find away of at least trying to give the bunny a sporting chance against linford the polecat and hey presto the bell was attached and the bunny hears him coming and does the the 100 metre sprint only to find a purse net impeding his progress! your also right in saying that it's easy to find them above ground in dense bramble etc, but the only fault i have found is that the do easily become clogged
  10. Hi guy's, Just become a member and been looking about on the forum,seems the place to help and get helped.!!! Im out tomorrow ferreting a new permission we were given this week in Kent so will be up early and feed the boys before i go, really looking forward to this as we went over on Thurs for a recce of the place and it's like a pepper pot so all goes well it should be a productive day!!
