  6. Anyone interested in a Pollack trip out of Newhaven on Sussex Coast in the next few weeks? If there's enough interest i will book John Goldsmith on Sea Leopard. All weekends are taken so if you leave dates you can do on here week days we should be able to get a trip together! Novices welcome! i am a skipper as well so you will have plenty of help. I believe John charges £450:00 for the boat a day so between 9 it would cost us £50:00 each plus rod hire if anyone needs it? i have three or four sets to loan out foc if anyone interested. Chris.

Yes mate it was! for me i find it quite interesting to find out what i am fishing over and how it got there, off the coast of Brighton there are about 250 wrecks most from the war and most have been Torpedoed so something good come of something so bad. If you go on sussex diving website there's a whole list of wrecks and how they got there quite interesting really.

Loads of gear for making nets on ebay and yeah it's easy enough when you do the first couple you should have the hang of it pretty much and it's a lot cheaper than buying them and the beauty is you can make them to what ever size you want,i make a selection of sizes and then colour code the tops of the pegs for two reasons one they are easy to spot and you don't go leaving them around the countryside and two i know what sizes are what in the net bag.   18. what if i take a 300cc tank in will they still need an adaptor? im new to precharged mate Just take the bottle in and they will def be able to charge it for you as long as the bottle is still in test and not expired it will have the date of expiry stamped on the neck of the valve. The dive shops up this way are unindated with guy's with air rifles they charge i think about a pound for the gun and two or three quid a bottle dep on size. Just remember if your new to this to trickle the charge from bottle to gun and don't just turn the valve and pump it all in at once it can create condensat

There's a thread on here somewhere that shows you how to make your own net's for next to freck all so if you like ferreting that much now is a good time to learn how to make your own purse net's think how you will feel seeing that bunny bowl into a net you made yourself,you never know you could be selling them to us one day! Now there's a thought!

  22. Anyone interested in swapping my coarse gear for a pcp? It's just one of my permissions that i ferret has just given me permission to shoot the ground and there's a lot of it and i need a nice gun but her in doors will not let me spend more cash when i have all this gear downstairs that has not been used for months so one's got to go to get the other!
