  1. Books still for sale/swap
  2. Not always a bad thing, could be worse - too many lads with dogs in your area
  3. I'll pm u 2moro mate, off 2 work now
  4. Why not just concrete or pave the run & seal/paint it for easier cleaning?
  5. Would be willing to do a deal on either a Seeland type jacket approx "50 chest or maybe muck boots/lightweight hiking boots size 10 in good condition. PM cheers
  6. Isle of Whithorn is nowhere near as good as it was several years ago but it's still 100 times better fishing than the northeast coast
  7. £120 posted, the postage won't be cheap

  9. ask local butchers 4 waste, foreign butchers seem less fussy about getting rid of waste. I've never paid for dog foood in 2yrs
  10. Its a f*****g disgrace, an armed robbery wouldn't get that response! I'd make a point of writing to the police to ask how much that callout cost taxpayers & make it known to the local papers whether they replied or not.
  11. If it was really that poor a night, which it sounded, the draw should have been run over 2 nites to make it fair. Either a night at each others ground or 1 night on neutral ground preferably with decent numbers of rabbits. I don't agree with the idea of paying landowners as their must be lads with decent ground on here who take part. If it's only 2 at a time & not mob handed I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem. Good luck with the next comp if there is one
  12. out with hounds a few yrs ago & they marked at base of a drystone wall. On breaking through the terrier was baying at a pool of water, it turned out the tube was like a u bend & the fox had to have went under water to get to the stop end 2 ft further on.
  13. Fair play mate, we're all criminals in the same boat. The difference is we wouldn't use foxhunting as a bartering tool whereas the middleclass/countryside alliance would. Cameron is just another politician at the end of the day
  14. If there are lads leaving gates open etc fair enough, its understandable. Maybe there's more arseholes down your way but not all cause the damage you say. If permission is not an option it's either poaching or give up the dogs - the 2nd is not an option
  15. A good point, after all the damage done by the field drivers i wouldnt be surprised if theres a blanket ban on lamping,or keepers/registered pest controllers only, thanks lads, you know who you are. Stop talking out ur arse, there's people poaching all over Gt Britain & you think the minority who drive the fields have spoilt it for others? Silly c**t Thats probably one of the stupidest posts ive ever seen, the point is who owns the land thats driven over? [tory voters] and who's likely to get in,and yes the c**ts in 4x4 have fuked it for those of us who do no damage,my mate was talk

  17. The chances are it would've been in a drier part of the earth & had no option but to go back due to the dog approaching
  18. what make are they? like the other lad said they can be bought new for £50
  19. what qualifies a dog to be the best single handed dog? Number taken in one night on a regular basis? How many has your bitch taken single handed in one night?
  20. Any thoughts on the Seeland jackets? How good are they & would you recommend them?
  21. Prefer digging to ratting but a days ratting especially when there's decent numbers takes some beating. We used to do a game farm before they started using poison & we had 430 rats the first day & 120 the second time. After that we'd maybe get 50 - 60's but it was hard getting them
  22. Great sport Goldy, wish people would just reply instead of quoting so it doesn't take 5 mins to scroll to bottom of the page
  23. The AGM is in May but I think you need to be vouched for by a member, best try ringing the contact number
  24. When are you hosting the RSPCA show? Think your lot will need the funds to help another anti hunting push just before the election
