I tried for my sgc and fac for a .22 rimmy but the inspector said I haven't had enough time out with a rimmy to have one but she gave me a high powered air rifle Thanks for all the replies lads I just have to sell the Logun now and save a bit to go with the cash to get a high powered one, but will look into all the rifles suggested.

Now that I have my Fac to get a high powered air rifle I have a Logun s16 mk1 to sell. Anyone have an idea what these are worth nowadays??? And also anyone give me any advice on what rifle to go for next, I'm after a multi shot and not to pricey.

Looking at gun clubs now online and will be calling in on some over the weekend and then give it a couple of months and then see how it goes.

Not the outcome I really wanted but foot on the ladder as they say. Got Sgc and should be here in 2 weeks but wont let me have .22 rimmy as I've not got enough experience and was told to join a gun club to get some. But did allow me to have a Fac for a air rifle but that got me thinking can I not just put in for a variation in 5-6 months?

Thanks mate I,ve done a bit of shooting with shotgun and .22 rimmy all up in Scotland with a Gillie on his land so I hope thats ok for them. Most of my shooting has been .22 air rifle and safety is always first and been on the same land for 3 years. Thats my only worry the time and experience with the guns that I havnt had.

Well the forms have been in for 2 weeks and my local FAO is coming to see me tomorrow What sorts of things will they be asking me and looking out for? as to be honest I'm bricking it. Also I have had some new permission since sending in the forms so can I ask about an open ticket or would I be pushing it a bit? I have gone for both a .22 rimmy and shotgun.

Something I cut and pasted. Two pest controllers who spent their lunch break poisoning wildlife for their "personal amusement" have been jailed. Thanks for the help guys. I've just been to my local gun shop and he had one in for £110 with a inside safe and it holds 4 guns and is quite deep so I had it for £100. All I need to do is pass and then start on with the gun shopping Mark.

Now that I've sent off all me bits for a FAC and SGC I am going to get the cabinet sorted and bolted to the wall. Looking at ones for sale there are so many sizes to choose, what size would be the smallest to store a Rimmy and Shotty in and so then I can make sure that I go for that size or larger and not to small. And do I need a little safe next to it to store the ammo in so its all stored seperate from each other? Does anyone know of any going cheep that are local to me and at British stds? All forms being sent off tomorrow. Been to my local gunsmiths and while chatting with him he told me to send the forms and ref forms all in one envelope so they all get to the same dept and it will be dealt with better. Anyone have any views on this? will it be bad to send it all in together? I know the guidance notes say send them separate but has anyone sent them like this? Mark.

Hi all I ordered some seals for my Logun last Tuesday and even after paying for next day post they still haven't turned up I have sent an email and just been ignored and so will give it one more day and then start a Pay pal dispute up and try to get my money back (Paypal say to leave it seven days till I can claim). Another quick question while I,m sitting filling out the forms, Can the land owner then sign two pictures and another ref sign the other pics then? In other words the same people be refs for both the SGC and the FAC? Hope you guys dont mind all the questions
