    Have recently managed to get back online after being away for a while so thought i would update on my pups. Originally i was only keeping the bitch back but had to go and get the other dog back as the guy who bought him turned out to be a *^"'er Any way after alot of time and effort by us, getting his jabs done and getting socialised he seem's to of settled in well, well enough for the mrs to now call him hers and he's not going anywhere She has yet to realise that all she has done is have 2 working dogs in the house instead of 1 Also not forgetting my staffy ( Dam ) who is imo the b

    Been looking at the cyclops, £40 but don't know anyone who's used one in the field. My cousin say's he's seen one and reckons there good but untill i see one the jury's out for me

    Littlefish - I was only saying today to the lesser half i need a few updated pics and to get them online. The pup's i've got here 1 X dog is 18" tts and weighs 12.8kg, The bitch ( Only 1 in the litter ) is 17"tts and 11kg. Will get some pics tommorow hopefully and start a new thread, would like to get peoples opinions on them

    Good points there blackstaff. I think alot depends on percentage of bull. Bull blood might increase strength and bone but it would reduce speed, and i think if you get a good whippet they can take a hell of a bashing. As for better feet they would be heavier dogs so probabaly more prone to foot injury. A thought of mine was that you would be adding more terrier blood into the whippet blood, so might up the chances of yapper maybe?? just a thought. Good point about the stamina though like chunk said whippets been tried and tested for years. not trying to contredict evrything you sai

    Why do you say that Chunk ? Personaly thought that if you put some bull blood in you would increase strength and bone,increased stamina, make them a little less injury prone due to the bull being more rough and ready, and possibly better feet ?? I bred a litter last year and bred for these reasons along with a few more selfish ones I did use a 3/4 non ped whippet, 1/4 G/hound mind to get some decent height and size into the litter.     Mine stay's on 3 untill i have the quarry in sight, then crank it up to 9, imo the bigger the target in your scope the better choice you have of shot placement Also the fact that my mincers aren't 20 20 and i need glasses
