blooming heck, what you feeding him hes a monster....or are you a dwarf? that could be anouther explination for how big that ferret looks I'm 5/10 so his is a monster i know the feeding bit was a joke but they have a rabbit a week ish and dry food which i hide in the straw in the shed to give them something to hunt about for when they haven't been out for a couple of days.(i let the chickens out first )

Slightly different question as a new ferreter should i go for a mk1 or just go strait for the mk3?

hmm mybe i just missed the right warren then, its meant to be pissing down here tomo will that put them to ground or the opposite with the warren getting a good soaking?

Cheers for reply. one more question would more dogs be better to put them to ground? just worry about the little guys with too many dogs i'm not use to. yeah i trust the dog he is normal right, its just where i go normal don't see many above the ground in the day, so was think they were putting him off. Hi all, I'm newish to ferreting so need some help please? Went out today to land not been too from a young age, new there were a couple about. Must have seen 7,8 rabbits today(good for around here) and dog was going nuts in the bushes all the time. Tested the dog on many sets with no luck but he was pushing them out of most of the bushes. So four Questions is there a better time of day to go? Will the dog be less likely to mark tidy with so many out and about?(normal marks great with no wrong marking) Why do they not go to ground when been chased about so much? I'm i just checki

Yeah lamping in the summer is not the best of idea's, does seem to f**k it up for the winter. Had a nightmar today bolted 3 and missed them all(prob good thing really) clever little ******, nice to see a few anyway.

Hi all, i'm from near cardiff and just started ferreting again, having the same prob, lack of the rabbits. best day out has been only 3 and thats since september. anyone know of any places near me to give a try? going to england on sat cause need to have a good day out!!!! guess no ones going to tell me don't blame you!! england here i come boo.
