thanks, is that what all alaunt's are bred like, just wondered where name came from, often wondered what bullmastiff blood could add to lurcher, mine is bloody fast for such a BIG dog!!!! excellent nose, and you would'nt like to come in my garden on your own with her! thare are diffrent ways the alaunt mines was off brian plummers own 2 dogs my alaunt has a good nose as well but she is not fast at running but she has a good temprement with other dogs she is kenneld with my 2 terriers at the moment i trusther 100 per cent with them

cheers his dam was a 3/4 gray 1/4 bull put to alaunt and the sire was a wippit/gray but am not right sure what else was in the sire glad you sent that, been wondering what is an aluant? seen it mentioned on here but never heard of them before! i'm an old fart now! i bred the dam of this dog heres my alaunt bitch sorry a ment to say i bred the dam of my lucher

some nice dogs lads heres my russel x lakey she is 11 year old a got it for noithing when she was 2 becouse the keeper said she had been tried and she refused to go to ground so she was geting shot so i took her and when she was roughly about 3 she went to ground baying at a fox and we dug her out ever since then she went stright to ground and bayed and she can be shouted out the last time she was out was last year she is to fat now its just a bit of the furniture now she would still get stuck in if she got the chance here she is the black and tan one

this is what your dog runs from barks....i think your barking mad...lol a dont think this dog is a firstx wippit/gray bcouse it looks like it has collie in it to be honest it looks like its a meril thats just my oppinion nice dog all the same

what does everyone think of this bitch i bred this bitch a own the dam and a i used my mates 3/4 gray 1/4 bull over my alaunt bitch and this is one of the bitches off her i think she is a smart bitch heres a pic of the dam

she cant run to save her self but a still take her she has had a couple of foxes she is far better at working with terriers she is very laid back she has never fought any dogs she is spot on at her job a few lads on here have seen her work she is a single handed bitch
