Hi all, does anyone know of any shooting syndicate vacancies in the Birmingham area? not been in this concrete jungle area long (due to work), but finding it very hard to find like minded fellow shooters (i dare not even mention i have firearms to fellow colleagues), mainly looking to join up with a deer stalking/shooting syndicate in the Birmingham area. I've been shooting on a farm for nearly 20 years now, and last weekend i went pigeon shooting, to my amazement, i saw 3 Roe, Doe and 2 grown kids, in the fodder beet. Never before have deer been seen there before, the closest woods is over 4 miles away.. Now...to all the fellow stalkers out there, would you shoot these deer and if so, which one first Doe or Kids (assuming all were in season)?

how do i stop my lab from running off into the distance? he's a good dog and retrieves anything (except crows), the problem is that the mut thinks its a spaniel and will hunt hard in thick cover and eventually be 200 yards before i know it. will an electric collar sort the problem?
