  1. A couple of years ago I decided to do a short trial for myself so bought a pair of Lowa's, Danner's Altbergs and was kindly given a pair of Matterhorn's. All were well made I think it really is a case of "what suits" I found the Lowa's a bit slippery on certain surfaces, the Danners were my daily choice..... Regards

  3. I would (as above) use a "long line" in the initial stages (not an extendable lead) and teach the dog when you call it, it always returns-the line ensures success. I teach between 60- dogs a week and have had repeated success with this Best wishes with the training

  7. Just wondered what individuals favourite boots are? Lets presume they are for use in all weathers. To start off Last year being fed up with Magnums that didnt last very long I bought 3 pairs: Altbergs Lowa's Danners I am pleased with them but my choice of the three would be the Danners. Of course "to each his own" Regards
