  6. Interesting topic, where I live there is a large park, which was left to the people of this town, I think it’s known as common ground, I often enter the park under the hours of darkness, as the said park is a haven for rabbits, the park is surrounded by fields, and the rabbits, mostly live in the surrounded fields, however enter the park to graze, on the lush green grass, one evening I was exiting the said park, to do so one has to cross a duel carriage way, as I crossed to the oncoming traffic, a police car, was heading towards me, as I crossed it in turn slowed, and turned the corner stopp
  7. I have two Poodles, the cream male on page two of this post, and a black bitch, the cream dog Hannible, which I intend to use in my Lurcher breeding project come July 09, he is totally tractable in every sense of the word, and as I’ve mentioned above, he has been a joy to train, however the bitch which I have failed to enter, or do anything constructive with is totally intractable, and in my opinion totally unsuitable to use in such a project, as for your question how many from the show fraternity see water I have no idea, however I doubt very many do.
  8. The fluffy bits as you refer to them are kept long to protect organs from chilling in icy water

  12. Why can’t we all bury the hatchet and get on with it, because it’s starting to bore me to be frank, it’s nice to be nice?
  13. I take it you do then? if so lets see your dogs and hear of your achievements with them ,or are you, as I presume , just another spouter with no goods and lots of opinions of how it shouldhave been done, without actually doing or contributing, we can all criticise . Contribute to what. You being able to sell your dogs for £££££££££. Contribute to kc rec. No way. Critisise i will as it is based on fact and you never new what you were doing. I had a good idea when you got involved that you would commercialise the breed and take take take. Even Brian wasn't sure about you but felt
  14. that's about it in a nut shell, good summary 10/22
  15. We have over the years let many people have our dogs, only a small number of these people have proved of any worth the others - and you know who I am talking about- have backstabbed, insulted our hospitality, generosity and trust then thrown it back in our faces, they make snidey remarks only we understand then look for backing and support, they con their way through the dog world riding high on other peoples backs, they are deceitful and untrustworthy and as far as I can see attract like to like, which in my experience over the years in the end is of no consequense or loss only to themselve
  16. I would just like to throw a spanner into the works regarding the pricing of one’s stock, I have always had the opinion that working dog’s are sold far too cheaply, this opinion has not changed, over the years, now there are two schools of thought here, firstly, many a so called dog man and this includes Sheppard’s, change their dog’s like they change their socks, and I have sold many a sheep dog’s over the years, I once had a litter advertised in the farmers weekly, this chaps phoned to inquire what price the pups were, £200 pound I replied, well the most I’ve ever paid is a few
