    An 'honest buck'? Hmmm, claiming to be something he isn't (a pest controller) doesn't sound very honest to me. I started with training courses, and then six months shadowing someone who knew what they were doing..... This isn't a few rats in a corner of a shoot, or a farm, it's someone's home and garden. Their health and safety is at risk all the time there is an infestation, and a novice is asking for advice about how to deal with it.     hi guys well got a call today from a lil old lady asking me to sort out a few rats from under a shed have not been out to look at the job not sure what to charge do i charge per vistit per rat or just what i use do i shoot do i trap or posion them

    hey guys and gals im interested in what you have to say what age i should start training my pup tilly all i want from her is to chase rat rabbits and tree rats but when do i start obedience training her i have started to train her to pee on comand which is starting to work after a week of no messing in the house i have never had a terrier before and dont no where to begin

    where these rats are is in an unused sheep shed no food just water there i have noticed a lot of what look like walking stick holes could these be rat holes as im new to ratting today i went to shed and shot a few holes in a tin of car food with extra gravy pop a few holes in it and let it drip out on to a pallet i set up to feed them on i hope they hungry lol with let u guys know more soon atvb darren

    hey guys where to start i have been doing some free pest control for a friend of the family who happens to be a farmer tree rats crows a few magpiesnow i know he has a rat problem in the feed shed have been there in the day looking for signs of rats yet no luck he happend today to say he has a shed a few miles away that he has kept sheep in for lambing drove over there today tp have a look and found load of rat poop and wee stains so me and my pal goin to have a pop at them this weekend coming so what i want to do is tomorrow start bait a area so we can shoot them at one spot i here

    Hi mate, do the usual house training, chicken and cat breaking and encourage it to hunt when your out. You don't say if you've got other dogs but if you haven't, you've got a perfect opportunity to get the "bond". It's in your hands. Good luck.     hi guys well i took the plunge and got a parson jack russell last night she coming from a home who has them as pets i was wondering if that will be a problem with traing her to hunt and rat or will she still have instinct of a working dog still breed in to her all i want to is rat and hunt rabbits may b tree rats and tips with training would be a help to a noob to terriers

    hi guys theres no game fair next weekned on the royal welsh show ground i live 7 miles from builth and there web site dont show any date till 25 june u must be confuse with rwas show is 20-23 july and it 20 pound each this year for an adult and i think 15 for a child

    try making a fake nest in the trap with chicken eggs in, make a whole in one of the eggs not to big about the size of your finger to expose the yoke & put the trap next to a hedge prefferably or were youve seen magpies. then scatter white bread peices around the area to get atention works for me good luck do i use the decoy or not do i make the nest in the trap side

    hi guys where do i start im a keen air gunner have been walking thru inlaws farm and have bagged a few tree rats and pigeons. but as he has loads of magpies which i can not get a shot on i was told to get a larsen trap which i found at a farm sale. the old boy who i got it off told me to use a mirror and egg to catch my call bird which has not worked i have looked thru the internet to get hints and tips i have tried fake nest half a rabbit a decoy which was abused by a real magpie lol im at my wits end can some help me get a call bird im from powys mid wales please pm me and i will repl
