    the problem that ive heard about pure whippets or greyhounds or a bit of both is that they have very thin skin that is very liable to cuts and a man i was speaking to today said he had lots of greyhounds come in to his kennels and smash the tip of the tails on the walls cos they were so thin and when they wag them they jsut crack

    well i presumed so..so they will be more nimble around the trees i thought a smaller dog would be more suitable as they are more agile that a bigger cross...maybe i thought wrong :S

    doesnt really matter how much you feed them pal as long as they have enough they arnt like dogs who just eat for the say of it..they only eat when theyre actually hungry atb louis

    Im looking for a cross of dog that will catch rabbits with ease but not too big as some sport will take place in woodlands but there will aslo be the odd field and open land and i like the look of the broken coated dogs thanks

    start with him on the lead holding the lead fairly tight but jsut enough room for him to pull and have him walking to heel. everytime he pulls give im a little tug back and say "Heel". Never let the dog walk where he wants..make him walk where you want and show him whos boss. Figure of 8 is always a good starting point. When you have mastered on the lead then you can progreess to off the lead but always using that same command..heel hope you understand pm if you dont atb
