  2. Hope you can give me some sound advice, it would be much appreciated. I have a young Whippet pup, 10 wks old, from some top coursing, racing blood, both parents are excellent workers. What i wont to know, can you introduce a adult Whippet to ferrets? The reason i am asking is hes my first Whippet and i dont have any permission as yet and because of the area i live in dont know if Im likely to get any?, so i might have to settle for a bit of mooching. I would love to work him alongside Ferrets but dont wont to end up with a couple of pets. So my dilemma is Ferrets now or wait and see if i c
  3. You need to keep those two pups housed seperate, kennels & runs, if there in the house?crates for when your not around because they aint finished, as lot of lads on here will tell you and with the loss of some good dogs, The fact you was bitten, I would knock that in the head, you have a dog that is a pack animal at the top of the pack is a Alfa male! That should be you..Your dogs are fighting for pack order, the fact of you being bitten could mean, they dont see you as Alfa male? Look at the Order of a wolf pack, there is harmony within the wolf pack, with the Alfa male being top dog, orde
  4. Oright mate give the river Alt a try up by Sefton church, seen loads around there, Ideal if you got a smoker? Also a landing net for when the little F....s make a break for it an try to swm to the other side,, good hunting.
  5. Docking a dogs tail with a rubber band does work, I did a couple of my Dobermann pups years ago, when the vet didnt cut them short enough but you should only use this method only when there under a week old as the tail is still grizzle, at 14 wks its bone, this will course the pup alot of pain suffering, open to infection an possibly the loss of a pup, a big vet bill and the RSPCA after you.
