I have been a member since October 2008, don't let the "newbie" label fool you. There are some good people here and others that think they are bigger than the place, nobodys that big.

Like most of the shooters I know, mine gets photocopied together with licence and vehicle details and given to the Landowners I shoot for. Increasingly they are insisting on this info and it has to be updated annually. I will have to blow it up a bit so they can read my name.

I got my renewed BASC membership card today, it took me a while to find my name on it. The name is tucked away at the bottom of the card and in the smallest print there is. Its a pity someone at BASC didn't ask for a Proof of what the Printer was doing, I can't believe the layout is intentional.

This outfit have been giving out lousy service and costing pigeon shooters money for years, its a wonder they are still in business. Anyone having problems should contact the magazines that carry their adverts and complain to them, plus Trading Standards. The BASC don't do their members any favours either, David Isley was posting on Pigeon Watch a week or so ago defending the company and John Deacon as a personal friend and saying they were just having temporary problems.

You couldn't be more wrong, I am not a senior member of anywhere, certainly not an Internet Forum. I have been in your presence (with others) and have heard your rantings about threatening legal action to all and sundry. Not a very edifying spectacle.
