What gorgeous dogs, can I just ask though did Spring have Vitiligo (sorry if you find that offending) ETA I know that Vitiligo is not from the owner not looking after the dog it just happens but some people find it offensive, so sorry if you are one.

Training, but not working.

Thanks for the advice dog lost, I will follow it, the thing that we are lucky with is that he loves the family members and is a fav pillow of everyone, including a 4 yr old, we had a spare bed for him in my room once, with the other dog so that in the day he could be there, but he was so strange, he would want to sleep up there but wouldn't go up without me, he would pace between me and the door to the stairs until I got there and went up to bed, so I will do the jumper thing and hope that it works, I will try DAP again though, with the other tablets and stuff we had a bully on serene-um and s -
Looks like a really good worker.

Hes there when he can be there, but he seems to know when I go to college in the morning and lets me go then, but when I leave for another time he sits by the door until I get back waiting for me, he also has problems with other people looking after him, we went away once and he went to a friends house who has known him since we got him, and he was sat in the corner shaking until we got back. And when we do go out if the dogs can come they can come. But he is a great guard dog bless him someone tried to break in, and when we got back Diesel had him pinned up in the corner of the kitchen. -

Thanks, I often feel as I'm failing him as I've seen so many dogs who are over confident, especially my other dog Honey. But sometimes I wonder whether it is just the breeder or if we are doing something to him, when there is no one around he is a confident dog, but as soon as someone strange comes in he retreats back into his shell. -
Does bull rushes count, if my dogs can't get to them from the bank, they swim to the island in the middle and then bring them back and play with them.

I'm friends with a American on another site who says that the American GSDs are a load of crap, so she imports and breeds German working shepard's from Germany as she says that there the best, so thats a breeder that I like.

Hi I have asked other people and they haven't been able to give advise, so I thought that I would ask people who know Lurcher's, this is about Diesel my brindle GSD X Greyhound, and I know many wouldn't buy him, but I let my heart rule my head (naughty I know). I copied this straight from another forum that I'm on and the second big lot is a blog on there, as I don't know if I can provide a link to another forum I will copy and paste that to. Diesel has always been a nervous boy, we have never harmed him, and apart from being chased by a westie and growled at by a GSD he has had no problem

How cute

Thats what I think, I know someone with working cocker's though who was actually kicked off a cocker spaniel forum as hers were not real cocker's We have had show standard GSDs and pups nicked off us after we got them after the breeder was going to put them down for not conforming to the standard well enough. I also think that every standard for a dog should be from its country of origin if they do need a standard, but some of the standards warrant the owners shooting, and don't even get me started on the British bull dogs.

The KC are money grabbing but at least if you get a kc reg dog you can see the lines and decide whether you want them lines or not, me and my family have had run ins with a certain someone from the kc though and are mongrel lovers as well with peds, but like I said at least you know where you dog comes from, when you get a puppy without papers you have to rely on the honesty of the breeders, I wonder what you think of dog lovers reg though? they only go up to the great grandparents though, and are only for pets not show. And you can even register crosses with DLRC http://www.dogregclub.c

GIVE A DOG A GOOD HOME < STOP THE PASSING ABOUT >

Aren't the RSPCA great, they have let down many a dog in need, but are still always begging for money. Yes what wounderful people they are.I know a young lad near my who nearly had his fit, healthy dogs taken off him by them all because they had a report that they was not being walked and kept locked in.They won't take a dog in need but try to take the fit and healthy ones WHAT BAST**DS Maybe they just look for dogs that they can rehome then and **** the ones they can't. -
Thats scary, round where I live though it happens too much, even to pet dogs, so people have to walk their dogs off lead as when there let off people are grabbing them by the collars, God help someone if they grab my dog by the neck though as especially the female goes mental and will have anyone who tries, I hope your friends dogs get found though, was it out the garden as theres a family down the road to me who come home one day to find some people in their kennels trying to get the working Lurchers out, they never finished getting them though.

Aren't the RSPCA great, they have let down many a dog in need, but are still always begging for money. the best thing was about the phone call was at the end they asked me to make a donation i told them if i seen them do there jobs in my area i would give them one as i see so many dogs mistreated here NO i want. If it was a injuyred duck on a pond they would soon have there rubber dingy out to get publicity nin the local papers :wankerzo4: lol we called them out as our neighbour had a rottie, said he didn't have time to walk it, and didn't like cleaning up the garden, and when -

Mines been OK, I bet this is not what you wanted the thread to be like though is it? -
My EBT was a big boy don't you have to love him the harness was a balancing one, as he was not taught to heel, we tightened it after the photo though, and after a week a 5 year old was able to walk him around the school field with someone next to him, encase a problem did occur. These photos were taken at someone else's house who has a house full of ragdoll cats. I really would love a EBT X Grey though. ]

hi there ive allways found enlish bulls to be very sociable with other dogs and ive owned three of them, never seen one crossed to a lurcher so i cant coment on that ,i,d be intrested to see what people think about this. greg I had a EBT who was lovely, I was given him at a year old and he was great with my dogs, and others, but was really stubborn, the only prob there was we was not told that he was suspected of having rage, we soon found out that he did after he put me in hospital after I dragged him off my Lurcher bitch, there was two kids 5 and under in the house and the person who
