Pups are coming on really well but they are just 3 weeks old. I've not advertised them as I really need to see what they are turning out like and I think until they hit the six week mark it's hard to judge.
How s the pups doing have you had much interest in them.That's rings true Royo natural looking types with out any exaggeration collie curs mall types cattle dogs kelpies aalsations all throw similiar types but for the sizes.i reckon this collie mall litter will blend nicely and hopefully keep any silly traits at bay.atb bunnys.
That's what we were hoping for We would like to produce something that resembles the rough tough working collie x's that seam to have disappeared. Only time will tell but we hope that using well tested working dogs will pay off with a nice line of luchers capable of being true allrounders.

What's the temperament and working ability of the sire like GVC?
He is very sensible and palsied out side of work but as soon as he is out the yard he is switched on there is no off button. He is totally obsessed with hunting and using his nose. The dog will air cent at an incredible distance and as he closes in turns to ground cent and all this Is at a pace most dogs will struggle to keep pace with just following him. He will hunt on cent alone until he is a dot on the horizon and will take any quarry single handed. He holds none of the negative traits you see in some collie crosses. He runs everything like his life depends on it. The only reason we are trying this cross is we feel it's best way to try and replicate the sire. He will work from sun up till sun down and never look disinterested or half hearted. No matter what there is to hunt he will find it hunt it and retrieve it if possible. He is seven now and works as hard and with all the vigour and intensity as he did in his early days. He has to seen to appreciate him.

Nice litter ,when I had my shepherd bitch often thought crossed with collie Lurcher would be good edible quarry dogs,sharpen them up little, be very interested to see how they progress .All pups doing well and eating for England.

She has endless stamina excellent nose and never switches off. But that said I don't know if there are enough like minded people out to warrant producing a litter of pups for.

Thanks I do like them so far there are 3 bitches and four dogs.Lovely looking pups like the collie marked ones, how many dogs and how many bitches are there, they should make a handy cross. regards collie john.

Yes they all have come light in build. I would of liked a bit more size to them. With that said at eleven month 3 of them are already doing the job and loving it and I think the others will fallow as the season starts properly.They come quite racy mate

Just a quick update. Really pleased with the mally X' we have. They are 100% single handed and real allrounders. We've just had a litter from the bitch. We put her to our first cross collie greyhound dog max.

Having lived in Formby for a number of years and had a small part in the Waterloo cup (supplying the judges horses) i do find this a real shame. I have a number of friends that live in and around the proposed area and it's not just Waterloo cup fans that are against this idea. I would like to see this idea scrapped and hope that the local population hunters and non hunters a like are successful in there campaign against this.

Hello tam sorry for the late reply. This is storm and farther max taken last night after work. I'll get some of him with the chocolate and white bitch this week. Not been able to catch up with the other pups yet but the lads with them are pleased with them.

Yes all ten are fit and well it was one of the larger bitches that I was worried about. But after the first 24 hours she's not looked back. The little bitch has been wick since she hit the ground. That's her at the bottom of the photoDid the little one pull through ?

Two weeks old all doing well. The little bitch is a cracking mother and settled in to the house no problem. No dout the pups will leave there mark soon enough. All seam to have a good length to them and good bone.

Sire 3/4 Wheaton 1/4 greyhound dam 3/4 Wheaton 1/4greyhound X saluki/greyhound.

All doing well the bitch is a great mother. 6 bitches 4 dogs. A couple of drops of whisky and help on on for a few good drinks and the lathargic one is as fit as a lop. It's still early but they look fit and healthy.

All done 10 in total but 1 bitch is very lethargic despite all my efforts so it's not looking good for her.

Not long to go now. I hope she's carrying a lot of fluid or I'll have my hands full. Poor little bitch is ready to burst.
