  3. lol, true! although ive never tried it! polishing a turd that is! you can polish a turd, you need to bake it in an oven at 180 degrees for hour and alf.. then when cooled varnish it, polish it as many times as you like.. One things for sure though.... 'It's still a turd' .... by the way .. Excellent link, worth a read... your pm box is full
  4. I feed Gain.... its 28% protein and 11% fats, which is plenty to give in one meal and thats to a working dog, they dont leave much mess behind so their cant be a lot of crap in it and they have plenty of condition. Its £11 for a 15kg sack.

  10. If the dogs didnt actually kill any of his livestock then why didnt the farmer just tell him to shift. I'd be up there with a gun, make sure there wasnt any sheep to worry!
  11. Got an update on this now, it was caused by copper sulphate, which is found in sheepdip. After the vet gave this bit of info we found out that a whole drum of the stuff had tipped over in the back of my mates jeep, and had soaked into the carpet. The First bitch was in the back of the jeep with her owner who had borrowed it off the owner of the second dog. So that was how she came into contact with it, the second dog was in there with his owner the next day and the sheepdog was taken to herd sheep in the jeep by my mate and his father. I'm glad it turned out to be something that isnt contagiou
  12. cheers for all the replies soon has we hear off the vet we'll let you know
