stop being a fanny I cannot see any advantage of haveing around your wrist than around your neck and start listening to people ....so if you have your lamp in one hand your catch ,hold ,kill dogs in the other how can you get your breal stick out your pocket .....????

All terriers are differant ive had terriers that will hunt on and no matter how much shouting it falls on deaf ears ...ive had terriers I can stop with one shout and many inbetween the two .... all my terriers are used to hounds and our hounds are used to my terriers ...the fact of the matter is a strange red terrier smelling of fox was on top 500yards from the earth in cover on the line of a fox that the hounds were on and it was killed ....and there is no huntsman in the country could guarentee there hounds wouldnt do the same

I f a terrier is the same colour as a fox the hounds will see it in the exact same shade as they would a fox We had a red terrier to ground yesterday and in no way would it be allowed to hunt with hounds not just because of its colour but there were a few new hounds out and both spots were in thick whins so while one of us followed the dog while to ground the other were at the entrances to lift the dog . Instead of nit picking at me read the posts and keep it to the fact s ... the terrier was ontop and the hounds were on so they met an unknowen red terrier in cover smelling of fox its

Your obviously like me on this topic mate and your personal opinion doesn't matter cause you have little experience in the matter. Facts are if an uncontrollable dog whether it be a hound, lurcher, terrier or any dog killed my dog then it would have the same fate. If anyone thinks thats odd then i find that weird but there entitled to there opinion. I'm away to my final shoot of the year today and theres a boy there in his 's who's grown up with the hunt, i'll ask him what he thinks of the situation. why was the hound or hounds uncontrolable ...and I am a terrier man for a pack of hounds

If this was how this terrier worked then maybe he wasnt suited for working with hounds ... Can you put a time on the terrier coming out behind a bolted fox?? The fox comes out then the terrier comes out simple everybody knows that. Out hunting today and get a call on the radio that they had put one to ground so headed off the hill and tried to find a track up to hounds ...i overshot a gate and put it onto reverse and tried to reverse straight round a corner resulting in this ....even in the low box diff lock on and the big tyres it was going nowhere ....jcb saved the day

I agree with everything above they are decent motors..I also give mine an oil and air filter change every 6k ....upgrade the leaf springs with the heavy duty ones from milners and put a decent set of tyres and it will go anywhere anyother lwb 4x4 will go ....i give mine soe abuse on a daily basis and its never let me down

Here is a pic taken while out with her sire today ..... he is a big hound at +/- 70lb the pups all look like being decent sized animals the red dog fatty and the black dog Pete has will make similar size to Tig I would think Nice jackets for you southern fairys
