    yeh ive also seen a few of his dvds very interesting but again cant afford to pay £20 quid for them.

    yeh i dont always give it to them usually if there a bit down ill give them a bit that or some raw egg mixed with milk usually give that to them when theyve got kits

    try givingh it some ice cream they usually love it and that should put some weight on him

    i get mine from honeybrook for the haris hawks but wouldnt advise them for ferrets they can cause problems for them 2-3 per week is ok but dont feed mine any more than that prefere to give them pigeon ect..

    it just kills them he mainly does it in areas where it wuld be difficult to ferret and he doesnt have time to ferret himself plus crop protection is part of his job and gassing is cheaper than rabbit fencing so i do agree it is a terriable waste but those are the reasons he does it. ive told him if he needs anymore doing ill do them for him.

    was doing my work experience with a gamekeeper not far from me this week. we were doing a bit of rabbit gassing and i mentioned if he wanted i would come down at weekwnd and ferret a few. he accepted and off we went. got into wood at about 8am did a few sets to no joy then it all started. ended at about 4pm with 32 in the bag 7 of them being young. there is one missing from the photo as there wasnt much left of it after a 32gm no.6.

    my biggest bag this year was 27 with dog ferrets and nets

    went out today with a few mates for a days ferreting on a field were the rabbits have been hammering the rape ended up with 27 off one hedge and very pleased with the dog

    mk6 fenn traps in a tunnel or in the entrence of the warren you saw it go in it is legal to use mk6s for mink but they have to be covered eg in a warren or under a tunnel

    glad someone else is havin the same problem as me (not in a bad way). i have the exact same problem my 17 month old bitch does the same thing and im in the same predicement with the number of rabbits. all i got told was to persevere and she should pick it up soon.

    i know [bANNED TEXT] you mean ive seen my brothers 1.6 mhh take a 6 pound hare but yet ive seen a 2lb5 fhh refuse them the best way is to get a NON shot hare and feed her up on it then drag it for her a couple of times then at the beginning of next season try and get her a young hare that isnt to big.

    i had 6 last season with my mhh wouldnt leave them alone they all stunk and he did get a couple of nips but put a bit of iodine on them and hes fine not had any this season though thank goodness.

    wentout last night with cassie for an hour to get her fittness back up had a few decent cases then got a cracking rabbit.
