hi folks,I've had a few whippets over the years,brilliant wee dogs,but what youv'e got to keep in mind is a whippet is built for skooting and for the people that keep whippets you'll understand this. it runs a certain way using it's back legs to propell itself only just touching the ground with its front feet so when you put that on rough uneven ground or sinky ground basically they just don't go but should you get it on the right terrain ie:flat,good to firm, then you'll have what I can only describe as the perfect rabbit dog, bearing in mind you would be hard pushed to run more than 100yrds
