I've got 2 tumblers. a 2 year old and a 7 month old pup. They are brilliant!(but mad!!) this is out of Hawker as well and Zeph.

Hi Thanks for your replies! Went to vets yesterday - 3 grass seeds & 20 quid later, he's also got some ear drops. Keeping him out of long grass and wheat is a nightmare round ere, think road walking might be a good idea til they cut it all down!

Our pup loves to run among the long grass and now he has started to shake his head alot, I thought that maybe he has a grass seed in his ear, only thing is there a way of getting it out without going to the vets. I have tried putting ear cleaner in to try and flush it out but nowts come out. Any ideas or is it an expensive trip to the vets??

Thanks for your opinions, much apreciated, got a treadmill for me and OH, so was thinking while I was walking away that it might be good for dogs, but not too much. Where we are, almost everywhere is waterlogged so might be able to do the swimming thing as well!!

Lurcher & terrier show on at Wolley horse show 2 mins from junction 38 M1, judging starts at 1PM. Good show last year, hopefully weather will be the same as last year. Anyone going?

Just like to ask the question as to whether treadmills are any good for training lurchers to get them fit for when the season starts.

why pay vet fees when there are people out there that can get them at 1/2 the price!! Vets are for emergencies only!!

I'm a bit stuck as whot to get my OH for Christmas and he is on about getting a Harris Hawk so thought there might be a monthly mag that I could subscribe to for him. Any ideas?? (Getting desparate 4 days 2 go!!)
