Hello All, I went through the same dilemma on boots but my feet do not like lined/tex boots, my feet sweat too much and the boot then take's an age to dry out. I bought a pair of Lundhags Scout boots from Penrith Survival, what a pair of boots, slightly expensive but awesome. I treated them when I first bought them with the supplied Lundhags wax/feed and then a bit of Nikwax, I have gone beating and shooting all through the Pheasant season, never once leaked, comfortable, supportive and light. I would say treat yourself to a pair of decent woollen socks, they work on the using layers princi

Hello All, Thanks for your advice. It is a shame because the 2 I had, were yes the bigger breed Yorkie, they were great workers and tough dogs, I did get them off a farmer near were I lived though! Ratpackjack is your offer of a pup still available, I see your post has been cleared now? Why do the KC ruin some of our most prized English breeds? John...

Hello All, New to the terrier part of this forum. I am looking at getting back into working terriers, i currently have 2 Labradors that i use for working when out shooting. I have lived in Kent for the last 20 years but am from Yorkshire (god's country!) originally. When I lived in Yorkshire I had 2 Yorkshire terriers that I used for ratting, they were superb at ratting and fearless through & through. I see on these pages no one mentions these dogs, does anybody know of any working stock or pups down in Kent? Thanks John...

She was neutered from a pup before her first season. Never dug holes before, caught her tonight digging again, going 'hell for leather'. Total mystery to me!!

Hello All, All of a sudden my 8 year old Lab Bitch is digging holes all over my garden! She has never done this in the past ever but all of a sudden there are holes everywhere! It is more after having a pee, she just stands there for quite a while shredding the lawn to pieces, then even turns around and diggs a bit more. Any advice welcome, I love my dog but also love my garden (put a lot of time and effort into it), if I cannot stop it she is on a chain at the bottom of the garden. Thanks John...

Hello All, I have a Falcon FN19 Light Hunter and a Weihrauch HW100S, I am currently using AA Field Diablo .22, I am finding they are heavy and dipping quite dramaticaly after 30 yards. Is there a pellet of the same quality but a bit lighter? would this give a flatter trajectory and a faster pellet? Not too sure of pro's and con's of pellet's weight and impact! Any advice welcome Thanks John...

Hello All, I am looking at buying the above rifle. As anyone used a Theoben Rapid 7? what do you think of them? What about .20 caliber, I normally shoot .22 but someone told me .20 is the best of both .177 and .22! Any thoughts and advice welcome Thanks John... For what it's worth I think we should put the forum back to how it was, back to 2 categories under Air Rifles!

Hello All, Can I legally shoot pigeons and Jays in my garden? Hello All, Just picked up my FN19 Hawk Lighthunter from NSP (Falcon, Air Arms) engineering. You could see just by looking at it it had been serviced, everything clean. Got it home and tried it out, the cocking handle was silky smooth along with the loading probe, both so much better than before. The trigger felt gorgeous and I swear it is a little quieter! Firing in the garden at 30 yards, pellet on pellet rested. According to the bill every O ring, seal, grub screw changed, new firing valve, hammer and spring guide. Full accuracy test with and without silencer, new de-twanger f
