    I owned a non ped racing whippet, from national champ parents who raced at a track at a local(ish) miners welfare club. he was strong and keen on rabbits, He wasnt the brightest but I trained him to a acceptable level for working. he was an exellent ferreting dog due to his acceleration but lacked stamina for hares. The only problem was that he was too quick, usually greatly over-running quarry when it turned and got himself injured a lot hitting fences/gates etc..

    Cheers matey!! its took my three years to get another dog after my whippet died suddenly (aged two) I swore id never get another but a days ferretin, shooting,or mooching in the countryside dosnt feel the same without a running dog at my side
