  1. wheeler lines never heard of them till i came on this forum they any good and how they breed ?

wheelers are nuttall x working bull . very hard , tend to want to fight whats in front of whats in front of it instead of working it .

So do you know for sure my dog has wheeler blood in or is that your conclusion derived from your above statement?

Thats all well as long as it can kill whats in front of it ive seen dogs that can spend all day getting smashed up lots of heart but no faking brains

Like i said he was hard, never heard him bay. And he'd hunt on top very well also could find in tricky places, but I should have worked him more to get his full potential.

what I meant was P Jones kept wheelers & had some old Parkes stuff . was told he had crossed them a few years ago ,then eventually got rid of the wheelers & took bitches to J Parkes & put his dog TIGER over the bitches . A picture was sent into EDRD of 4 of the dogs . these dogs will be about 3 - 4 years old .

  2. I have a dog in my yard that is bred with buck lines in him. he's 11 now. I was recently informed by a friend who has looked into the breeding of my dog as he could tell by the look of him that he was well bred. The dog came from a fella in the midlands i think P.Jones. And also has old parks stuff on the other side. So a very well bred dog. However I was given this dog 8 years ago and always asked the guy i had him off where he came from, but with no joy just had answers of cant remembers and i'l make some phone calls. Any way i know know. The dog was very hard and to be honest was not worked as much as he should have been, entirly my fault. Ike is now retired and I'm looking for the [bANNED TEXT] bitch to try and have some pups out of him.
The other side is wheeler blood

THIS PRACTICE WAS ILLEGAL ON DOGS HE TOLD HIM.......... RSPCA ENDED UP TAKING THE GUY WHO SOLD THE DOG TO HIM TO COURT...... BEWARE!!!

IT IS ILLEGAL TO DO THIS TO DOGS

ITS ILLEGAL TO , BURGAL HOUSES BEAT UP OLD WOMEN , FLY PLANES INTO SKY SCRAPERS SMUGGLE DRUGS , STAB EACH OTHER WITH KNIFES, CARRY ILLEGAL GUNS

AND DECLARE WAR ON LITTLE COUNTRYS FULL OF OIL , BUT HEY THE RSPCA WILL TAKE YOU TO COURT FOR DOCKING A TAIL :icon_eek: , FOOOOK THEM :bye:

    Well said :clapper:
  4. Hello everyone, i was wondering if any one could help me out i've got a 6 week old patterdale pup bitch and i'm wanting to know if i can still get her docked or if it is to late and if any one knows where i can get it done. she is going to be used for working.

thanks for any help you can give

wait till its about 14 weeks then get a farmer too put a rubber ring over it at the required length (the ones they put on lambs ) . it will drop off after a couple of weeks .

  5. Cheers chaps

I recon i was over encouraging her....getting myself more excited than anything!

at least i know she will go to ground so thats one step in the right direction

There is apprently meant to be some colder weather coming in the start of next week so il leave the place quiet until then

Try & leave it for a few weeks , as the scent of the dog will linger in the hole & put mr reynard off until the scent of the dog has gone .

  7. yes mine come from a bloodline in north east mr thompson and richardson :clapper:
J thompson no longer keeps or works sealyams, as under his own admission the gene pool was to small & he lost a lot of the gameness over the years . Although he has said he still wishes he had them & knew more about line breeding when he was younger .

THE BITCH IVE GOT IS A RESULT OF A BROTHERXSISTER MATING

Whats with the caps lock as I meant no offence ,what I said is what he would tell anybody .

  9. have had a big dog bred out of samson ( 17 " ), good worker . some people said too big but he honestly never failed no matter where he was put . Am currently digging to dogs just as big that are grandchildren to samson .My point is no matter the size of the dogs , if the bloodline is right you will be able to dig to them .

    how old is samson

Samson is about 7 or 8

    question is,,,is he any good???

    who knows

I know some very well known terriermen & they rate the dog .
