    well lad the 3/4s have gears to burn but im not gone on the gamness of most of them on the other hand you can get the nutters who ar mad for it... fair fucks to buster hope he goes well...what happend to jack? i was offered a full hound coursing bitch big fawn bitch mad as a f**k have the wheaten bimbo to put over her but never kept on top of it. so il let it off for a bit..as them wheaten hounds ar pure animals just need to wait out and get all dogs sorted there all over the place at the moment..     What do you all think in your opinions is a better dog working be it a first cross or a 3/4 ... Say for example you have your own bull and own greyhound both tested dogs but you also have a first cross bull hound.. how many of you would put the bull to the greyhound or the 1/2 cross over it..? Imo the first cross will always be a bit heavey ,lacking in gears but yet still game as the full thing where as the 3/4 will be a faster dog taller have more use but yet dont always end up with half as game a dog as a first cross and more result in jacking ...     Well lads selling these two pups due to not having enough space and time... they ar very well bred ... Sire:patterdale was 6years old nuttal way back in him.. hard dog but mixed on occaission and seen more country then most folk so called hunting men.. Dam: English bull x lakie x patterdale.This bitch is 4year old and works a topper could never fault her..came in from wales. Sire is dead now got killed in a kennel by a bullx .. dam is still being worked and the lad who owns her culls hard an old dog in his yard is rear but parents ar two toppers Also this is a repeat mating don

    Thanks for the reply lads i springers seem to be the ones to go for from the off... 2 lined up to see working but ones over priced to f**k but trained to FT spec just does not turn fast enough what ever that means.. but quaters like a robot thing is iv picked up the feeling the FT dogs ar alot softer then the rough shooting/woodcock dogs ... can anyone shed some light on that for me ... thank you

    Agreed 100% ...pups drain a bitch to the last (energy&condition) .... takes them a bit to come back to full health no point in geting her to pup as soon as possible as the bitch could die anyway... also the injection to get them to come into heat is shit as it rarely takes action in some cases .... so just take bitch on and wait like everyone else..

    All depends what you want it for.. imo .. if your running rabbits and the odd fox the striker does the job handy.. But on the other hand if your running big game the blitz is the daddy.. My reasoning is where with quarry you will have mostly the one slip on in one field the blitz excels as it bounces off the bottom ditch and the surrounding ditchs... where the striker is more zoomed in on the quarry where you can have a few slips in the feild without disturbing the rest of the quarry..

    Its a waiting game no matter what bitch it is... you will have to wait a few months now and even if she comes in in the next month or so which would be rare it wouldnt be advised to breed off her..

    nope no fence dog was tied up and he didnt want to run i found out why that morning my mistake lad never read that post... thats common on alot of running dogs still for him to bag 11 .. he be doing double that when hes well loosened up..

    Could have got a bolt of a fence who knows... iv seen it happen before where they get a bolt and take off to where they started from usually the trailor/car but in your own case the house...

    Twice a year or there abouts ... she should come in quicker then some others as alot get the injection so that stops them from coming in when with the trainers ... take her on and wait she should come in again in time..and in that time test her to see if shes worth breeding off..

    Seems a shame it has been left that long with nowt done to the pup... They should be out, doing basic training ect, learning how to go threw wire, wee obstacles ect from a young age. Sounds as if she will need a lot of work... Good luck with the sale. Frank.
