    I had a bitch tear a gracillis about a month and a half after being in season . Apparently due to some sort of phantom pregnancy side effect of the muscles , tendons , ligaments etc softening to allow hips to move when giving birth . Always give them two months off 4 weeks after season has ended now to avoid the issue . Have been told by a coursing man that a bitch will run her best around the season but how true that is is anyone's guess !

    Thanks for the pic fl, she looks a nice sized thing . Do you think the pairing has anything to do with the solo pup ? I had 7 to start but lost 4 , I've never lost a pup previous to this litter and was wondering if the mix wasn't a good one .

    Both parents are good in cover and hopefully with the cross being from a small bitch the pups will be reasonably compact (but not small enough to get to ground ) , only thing I think may be lacking is voice but only time will tell .

    inbox now empty , I've had it a few years and couldn't get on with it , so its been in the front of the net bag for all its life . a little dusty but I've checked both collars and the box , all working spot on and yes its the magnet on/off version , a little awkward at first but easy to get the hang of .
