  3. Have a bump on me, very good price for a kc whippet . I like the last one with the blue muzzle. Is it a bitch? If you put up the sire and dams KC names then we can veiw thier pedigree on the whippet archives. DG
  4. Lovely pups, i'd be chuffed to bits if they were mine. Looks like their going to make big strong dogs.
  5. I've been trying to find out more about my new Beddi/Whippets lines. The pups sire has lines out of 'Sooty Sam' and 'Lord of the Night.' I've done a bit of searching, and came across Mike Browns website. Does he breed good whippets then? I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to running dogs! He does breed good working whippets yes, he is well respected in the working whippet world. He owned sooty sam, and lord of the night. DG Cheers DG! Not that I'm bothered too much about it, a dogs a dog, I think you get out what you put in. Too true.

  14. 21"+ 35lb+ dog or bitch, There are many lines that have the 'strong' type dog but most of these lines are breed for the purpose (working). Ive rarely seen show or racing whippets conforming to this type, and some of the racing whippets would be blown over in a breeze. Good strength of bone and sure footedness is a must. I think what 'makes' a strong dog above all is strenght of mind and character which i believe is instilled in them in the first 6-10 months of their lives. Guttlesssness and no heart will get you nowhere even if your a machine. DG
  15. I once got a Bedlington whippet from a guy, he had no phone and I had to make arrangements with via his mother who he phoned occasionally – anyway when I got there he was nowhere to be seen so I looked around found the litter, picked a pup and left a note and the money. He rang me to wish me well and said he had planned to give me a luck penny. Pity I didn’t wait, as the dog broke out one night and got hit by a car before I got a chance to hunt with it. I’m considering of ordering a pup off Mike Brown next year. Did you pay a deposit I think he asks for £10 to hold over a pup? Has
  16. Holsworthy launceston area, have whippet and jrt. Plenty of everything on 600 acres of own land and 2000 permission.

  18. A chap near to us (devon), grandsire strike while the irons hot. That would be Glen, ( Strike While The Iron Is Hot ). Nice whippet pup DG, good luck with him. Yeah thats right, mainly MB's breeding throughout pedigree. Glen is the sire to Ted you should have a very fast little dog there DG with a good nose and a lightning strike ATB with him. Thats a nice looking strong dog, who was his dame? How old? Cheers DG
