  1. Sent an email... I'm fairly close over near Wrexham.
  2. And that doesnt only apply to gunslips........ I used to walk a mile to the farm where I shot with my rifle over my shoulder uncased. The law only stated that a pistol had to be in a securely fastened gun case, not a rifle
  3. I use a S410 carbine and i found that the two equally most accurate pellets I tried were the AA Field 4.52 and the Logun Penetrator. I used to shoot with .22 in air rifles so even with the additional .5" drop at 40 yds (compared with Fields) I find the Penetrators pretty flat shooting. The skirts are a lot more solid that traditional pellets so do not suffer from deformation and they are fantastically hard hitting on pigeon and rabbits.
  4. I went for the Mossberg pump .410 Hushpower... great little rabbit gun although the point of impact was a touch hard to evaluate due the the mod raising the bead.
  5. This wasp landed on the sandwich, bit off a fairly large circle of ham, carried it to the edge of the plate and then returned several times to cut it up and carry away the pieces. At one point it almost fell off the plate and I had to lend a finger so it could get the ham back over the edge.
  6. I would'nt mate , they only push out a couple of ftlbs... not really enough to do a humane job. I'am sure a vast majority will agree that hares should only be shot with a .17 upwards, I've seen hares on both hare shoots/walk round days hopping around even when shot with some of the heaviest of 12g loads. not the tool for the job. I'am not having a pop,its just my opinion through personal experience. cheers Millie Hi, do you mean by a 'heavy load' a larger shot size? I'm just asking because shotguns are very capable for fox control and that is a much larger animal than a h
