    i have just been reading the thread on bully looking terriers and thought id make a post, the local fag man over my way has a 1st cross bull russel bitch and its the most amazing bitch ive ever seen looks wise aint seen it work cos he wont let no one on his land, but it must be literally 12 inch tts (jrt body/frame) with a massive bully head and he says it does everything and it was well marked it goes to ground rats bushes he lined it with a gun trained cocker a couple of months ago and the demand for those pups off him was rediculus they were sold before the bitch dropped so obviously his do

    i am thinking of getting a terrier for a bit of ratting and to hopefully bush along side my lurcher what would you say in your opinion is the best dog breed or cross to use i.e easy to train works along side other dogs and so on regards

    i just want to no your opinion on this, everyone knows that collie greys are good working dogs but what would happen if you were to make the cross smaller by adding a whippet instead of a grey.. i think they would only make between 18-22 inch max so with there small size would they only be restricted to rabbits or would it be possible for them to take bigger quarry? which way would you do the line whippet over collie or collie over whippet. does anyone on here own this cross if there is can we see a couple of pics. regards

    my ferret kits are nearlly 3 weeks old (monday) and none of them are showing any signs of there eyes opening and i got told there eyes open at 2 weeks is this right.. and is this wierd my gill had a litter of 11 two were still born and the 9 surviving are all gills

    just thought id drop everyone a line and say hi, im new to the site and the world of hunting i have reciently got my first lurcher a 5 month old collie grey x saluki whippet grey standing at around 18 inches. she needs quite a bit to bring her on she sits on command at the moment but thats it she wont even walk on the lead...so she should keep me busy. look forward to chatting with you all..
