I wonder now what temp sea water does freeze?
I'm pretty sure it's bloody cold, I've not seen any icebergs, and I've seen air temp as low as - 25c here, but then again I'm not the lookout on the titanic......... Am I?

We never get snow, although it has snowed lots, living 200 yards off the Atlantic, it never settles. Even @-12c last week, just too much salt, animal water butt's were 4" thick of ice though, couldn't make it up

Only the t-bolts have nice shiney gold triggers, I looked at the stainless, x-bolt but was heavy so got the ab3 synthetic stock, replaced the sear spring and the trigger is a lot lighter but still plastic, wish I'd gone for the x-bolt now, was only £300 more. I do like browning barrels, made in Japan but accuracy I've never seen the like of.
Edits, I only have it in 308win though. No use here for a 223
The ab3 states 4 shot, but my mag holds 5 an one up the spout so it's a 6 shot

Which Vacuum Sealer?
Amazon's scaring the shit out of me! There's pages of them. Prices are all over the place.
What do I look for? Recommendations? Obviously, I'll examine any short list for the possibility ~ no matter how fukking slim ~ of avoiding chink shit!
Thanks.
Amazon.co.uk : vacuum+sealer
WWW.AMAZON.CO.UKI just got a James Martin one for £20 a few years ago.
Get the rolls not bags, a lot cheaper, just seal the bottom cut what length you need and Robert's your mother's brother

To be honest, I like the cz and the browning ( I have one of each in .17 ) but if I was to replace ether or both of them it would be with the tikka, they are a rimfire that feels like a centrefire
Mate has two tikka in 22mag and 223, have to admit they are good bloody rifles

Well and truly confused now thanks for the info I think
Best thing to do is go in and have a feel, see what feels right for yourself. Some rifles just feel right and you'll make it work!
Then buy the tikka

Which is the best.17 HMR bolt-action rifle? - Shooting UK
WWW.SHOOTINGUK.CO.UK
This review pits the Sako Quad Synthetic, CZ Synthetic Silhouette, Browing T-Bolt Synthetic and...The t-bolt comes out top in that!
It's all personal preferance, I really can't fault mine, accuracy is what counts at the end of the day, both the lr and hmr t-bolts I have have excellent accuracy.
Did I ever mention shiney gold trigger

If you like a Browning Trigger fair play , but they are shite, every person I know who had bought one , got rid of it straight away .. In comparison a Tikka T1x is similar money and much better ..
The only trigger I didn't like on a Browning was the ABIII, I got a new sear spring from a bloke in oz, postage was more than the bloody spring, but that sorted it, so it was nice and crisp.
I'm happy with the T-bolts (I still try turning the bolts though ), proves its just each to they're own. I have had far worse did I mention the time .............

100% they are not good.. The best advice, do not get a T-Bolt there wank..
Mmmm I likes my trigger as its shiney gold, not tried wanking with it yet preciousies shouldn't give me ideas. I have two, one in lr and one hmr how can I fits this in....

The Billy's I shot are a lot bigger and filthy things, covered in kegs and lice and rank of piss, unbelievable how strong they small.i only use them for dog food, nothing like domestic goats
We don't keep Billy's, once was enough, they do stink an they piss all over themselves aye wedders are fine, castrate em at 8week.
Those are last years kids, mother a Toggenburg an father was a guernsey, not a bad offspring.

4895 was a wonderful powder indeed.
Sea temp here varies between 8c and 6c all year, a big body of water rarely varies, I use a floatation suit when out, puts my survial rate up from 15 mins to 2 hours if I end up overboard, canny swim so is a bonus too
