    I been convinced for years that the populality of ferrets as pets could be indangering our ferrets health. As the years are going by the ferrets i see at judging shows are getting larger, and they just seem to be getting un healthyer. Plus could this breed out the workingness of a ferret. I concerned we are going to lose the good size ferret that will fit down a hole and lose working ability like we have with many dog breeds. all of my ferrets have been rescued but if I had to go to a breeder I choose a working line over a pet line any day. these are pic of my 4 ferrets.     Hi Ya Been thinking of taking the plund and learning more about hunting for years certainly helps in those heated debate you have with friend if you know both side's to the coin. I use to work in a wildlife hospital, and although could be classed as a bunny hugger, I have a very open mind and still beleave the most effective way of pest control is with a rabbit and/or a dog. I still very unshore about shooting just seems a tiny bit un natral to me. In my time at the hosptial I raised a young grey squirrell, and although I agrea these little grey things need controling they do have

    By no means is this anti at all, just people feeling they where being slatted and trying to defend themselfs against what they saw was a rude comment about themselfs and there animals. It's a reasonal responce when your being called all sort's of names. I think it is fantastic PR, and will like to remind people that like many of you go out rabbiting many of us go out to game fairs doing racing and chatting to the public to keep these animals in a good light. at the end of the day we all in it for the same thing weather we work them in a bury or down a racing pipe.
