when you get a capture in a body grip the tunnel is kicked clear i use a wire cage over the trap

set a few wires yesterday where the rabbits have been doing a lot of crop damage here are a few pics one in a body grip one in a peg snare a peg snare set on a tram line in the field one snapped by a fox picked up 5 rabbits

a drop box is a simple trap an area is fenced of with rabbit fencing a pit is dug and a square box 18 x18 is inserted into the hole this is to stop the rabbits digging out it is a good idea to put some mesh on the floor of the pit as well then you cut a hole in the mesh and insert the tunnel of the drop box in the fence lock the trap door so the rabbits get used to going through the tunnel which can take a bit of time when you are satisfied it is being used you unlock the trap door in the morning next day when you go to check it there should be the rabbits in the pit that have been useing th

set a few body grips and some fence snares yesterday here are a few pics of the catch this morning one in a fence snare and a perfect strike thi 116s are deadly in holes in rabbit fences and under fences i also have a drop box in a fence line round a pit i set that yesterday and got 8 rabbits this morning acounted for 12 rabbits in all

ok every body my striker 170 has packed up my mate has tested it and the coiled wire is the fault can you get a replacement for it if so where from any help would be appreciated

went out this afternoon to look for some pigeons i so a few droping in some rape got set up at 4 o clock and by 6 i had picked up 31 not a bad couple of hours here are a few pics

yes he is a 1st cross collie grey i took my lamp to a mates house for him to have look at it there did not seem to be any loose connections the bulbs ok and the battery but it still wont work

went out tonight to give miggs a couple of runs the first one he got he did a triple sumersalt and came up with the rabbit in his mouth he had 9 runs altogether and caught 7 he was on fire then all of a sudden my lamp started flicking on and off its a loose wire so i had to call it a night i was gutted we would have had a great night her are a few pics

set some mole traps checked them this morning and had 4 moles out of 7 traps and got my first double here are some pics

i set three rat snares in some game cover and got three rats here are some pics

my dog from hancock he catches on the lamp and he is a cracking ferreting dog he is steady when the ferrets go to ground and he is a very good jumper sometimes though he suffers from seletive hearing but all in all he is a good dog

well done dave like woodga said somtimes you have just wait for the right night but its time never wasted when your just getting started on the snaring its all good pratice

me and my mate where asked to clear some hares of a field of set a side they where doing a lot of damage to the crop in the next field we acounted for 36 hares in two mornings and had 4 hares out of 4 snares on the same run we made our own video of the snaring

took my mate tony ferreting today to do a wood now they have finished game shooting i let my mate tony go in the wood to net up :whistle: i stayed on the out side got netted up ferret in miggs at the ready waiting for the action to begin got 2 bolters and then a dig miggs wanted to help out got the rabbit out onlly a shallow dig went insde the wood to do a couple round some old tree stumps and finised the morning with 10 rabbits got + 2 little ones what the ferret had killed and 7 where in young there is one wood still to do which

went out with miggs last night to check a couple of fields i have all ready had 24 rabbits of this field with the ferrets miggs had 6 runs and caught 4 i also had him out on tuesday night on another farm where he had 9 runs and caught 6 where out ferreting tomorrow
