  5. Willow Bank Fisheries, Kirton Lindsey lincolnshire, just off the A15 between lincoln and scunthrope! really nice place and frendly baliffes, who are more then happy to help and chat come to that! google it and you'l see it mentioned on several sites, i mangaed to catch my PB pike ther of 21lbs 8oz while fishing for the cats!
  6. had any luck today?! i know its abit late but my top tip for a very good chance of catching a pike is live bait (if allowed!!). 3'-5'inch is perfect for jacks and low doubles. use bigger for the bigger pike! never really had any luck with lures or spinners sorry! tight lines, Mat p.s i know live baiting is not everyones cup of tea, but it does give good results.
  7. thanks for the replys lads, and for the links!
  8. i've read in the Shooting Times this week their artical on homeloading shotgun cartridges, it was quite informative and has made me think about starting to homeload my own cartridges. but my question is this, in the artical they have mentioned about needing an explosives licence to be in posesion of black powder, it goes on to say that to gain one is quite easy if you have a SGC, but it does not go on to say where to apply or how to! could anyone who homeloads please fill in the blanks?
