    good debate good debate. And i have to say i agree with the majority. You wouldnt go in this field(its shit anyway, lol, just a cpl of well ran roe on the tree line). I wasnt saying anything about entering the field with your dog. More the obsenity of the sign.. Especially with all the gun laws and hatred towards guns by a lot of people...

    It is common all over britain. However it cannot be so publically broadcast.... surely. Its ok saying it to your face or word of mouth but this is to much.. Even the farmers around think it is barbaric....

    This is obsurd! It is right next to the road, where the general public, in cluding elderly people and young children walk.. Its wrong....Ok, i totally understand that if you dog goes mullering his livestock then it deserves to be dealt with but this could seriously scare a kid into not wanting to walk his or her dog...

    Yes, its a joke that someone would decide the type of dog to get based on its future breeding and salablity of pups. I hope this was a joke....... I dont think it was a joke mate. I think he needs guidance and people to show willing to help him.. Instead of diving on his back and drowning him before he has even got out of the shallow end....

    Maybe you should have a look at your land and where you want to be running your quarry.. Is it on the moors, flat land, arable, rocky.. All factors of what you are considering. Grey hound were being used on the big lands many years ago and some to good effect. However once different blood was introduced it slowly died away. The reason was that the greyhound bred to another breed was more durable, more robust and certainly had more stamina.     Can i ask, does anyone know of any survey or study done on the wildlife in the uk to determine which county holds the most species or numbers?? Where they are their best, or which lands are the most fertile for our native species?? Thanks.

    Just do the guiding on the pike front mate... more so in the early autumn and arond the spawning times.. however it has been a wash out of late and the catch rate has plummeted somewhat in the bays with all the rain... What boat is it? got any pics? thanks Russ

    Hiya John, hope alls well. Not done as much as i would have liked to have done.. Done some guiding work on lomond and loch ken.(had a few pb's in the boat) And just purchased a cpl of new boats. wether they actually hit the water is another question, lol.
