Exactly...... YOU PACKED IN NOW FOR A FEW MONTH..?? I was somewhere at the weekend, new pastures, I have never seen so much land void of life. It was an very very strange. Even in the harshest of places where I live and hunt there is tackle. Did mine and the missus head in.. Got some good bird shots though.. I'll post a few on here to see what the dick brigade have to say!

I'll tell you what northernlites, they are one of the hardest birds to photograph.. Once you find their feeding branches you can do well but finding the one they are using at that time is pretty difficult as they may have a few branches and will fly upto anything to 2 kilometres along the river, unless there is a good population of them on that particular river, then they will stick to their own territory..

its difficult to tell mate off that pic wether it is soft or hard, i know it looks thin. I watched it through the binos at about 30yrds and it didnt act like a robin, however like i said above, i maybe wrong.. We cant put a definate tho so it will go into the delete bin.. with no name.unless you are 100% sure bud? Russ
